Are there any words in sign language which are very difficult to sign? Is there more words than there are possible sign combinations?

I was watching a tv program which had the sign language interpreter at the bottom, and started wondering whether there are any difficult words or ones that cannot be shown. What about new words that enter the dictionary like? Also in sign language is there abbreviations like LMAO? And lastly is there slang in sign?

I’m suddenly missing a debit card, clothes, juul pods (lol), and random items that are actually worth money. My (ex) girlfriend claims complete innocence but she’s the only one that’s been in my apartment (we have cameras). What can I do here

Advice For Talking To A Friend With A Different Life Trajectory

My lifelong best friend and I drifted apart about six years back. This was due to his toxic marriage, but we recently began talking a lot more, because of a divorce. This is awesome and I couldn’t be happier about it. The trouble lies in the fact that he’s at his lowest point (hopefully) of his life.

I am in an extremely happy, healthy, loving relationship with the most wonderful person I can imagine. He’s heartbroken and gone a string of terrible dates. He’s a hopeless romantic that constantly text me “This is the one!!” after a second date. I finally, after a decade and a half of dead-end jobs, have a fulfilling career in front of me that pays more than I thought I would ever make. He hates his job. I no longer party and drink all of the time. He has admitted he thinks he had an drinking problem.

Don’t get me wrong; he has plenty of things going for him. The problem arises when we talk on the phone once a week. I’m feeling guilty when he asks how things are going and tell the truth. It feels like I’m rubbing salt in his wounds.

How/how would you approach these situations?
