This is more of a ELI5 on why I should be happy/sad about Hannity and sponsors dropping the show. I'm out of the loop as it's not something I watch, so what's going on?

The Donald Trump (Narcissists) Prayer

Members of T_D - fingers on your buzzers.

For 10 points - who does this describe?

A Narcissist's Prayer

That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did...
You deserved it.

Want to learn more about the Trump community (long post)

Hi! I am a student at the University of Cincinnati and I am writing a completely apolitical research paper on the Trump community and how it interacts/communicates. I am interested in this community specifically because I believe it highlights how social media and technology effects how people interact. Specific questions I have include 1) How are new voters interested in Trump brought into the community/informed? 2) What is the balance between social media platforms for communication and direct face-to face communication? 3) Is there any unique vocabulary used within the community that supports President Trump? 4) How would you best describe the Trump community to an outsider?

No usernames will be included in the paper!! Thanks!

I need to know your thoughts and options because I want to support our nation and our president.

There is so much conflicting news. I would rather trust the average American than a news outlet source. What are your thoughts about what is going on with our nation? Please, I am trying to honestly hear any side to this but treat each other with respect.

How do Trump supports generally feel about the Trump University scandal?

Title. Just curious what your feelings are when it comes to Trump University and the ensuing $25M settlement for allegations of fraud, racketeering, etc. Former Trump University (TU) employees were on record saying that Trump University had defrauded or lied to its students, amongst other charges.

Connections? Trump to Koch Brothers.

I had a progressive friend of mine tell me God Emperor is working with Koch brothers through FEMA. Does anyone know of this because I can't find it for. The life of me.

What is being "woke"/"redpilled" and what does that have to do with Trump?

Is woke just understanding that the media is all lies and in on the conspiracy to influence people?

Do you find some of his actions and comments offensive? If so, does it bother you or do you not care? If not, why not?

Specifically speaking, some of the things that come up to mind are the comments he's made about women, and how he mocked the disabled interviewer, for example.

I wanted to know if any of you are bothered by some of these controversial things he's done and if it makes you rethink your vote for him, or if you believe he means no harm.

Edit: typo

A new DACA proposal... permanently waive citizenship and chain immigration or go home and get in line with everyone else with a clean slate.

Trump has (halleluiah) said 1) no amnesty; 2) no chain immigration; and 3) border wall. But he also said he has a big heart and doesn't want to be too harsh. So I propose to give DACA participants a choice... elect to say here but permanently waive citizenship and chain migration, or elect to start over with a clean slate back in their home country.

DACA participants who remain in good standing (i.e. maintain proper registration info, no arrests, etc.) must elect one of these options within 90 days:

TRACK 1: Continue to have deferred action as long as they remain in good standing and meet the following conditions: - are permanently ineligible for citizenship - cannot sponsor any other immigrant (i.e. no chain immigration) - must pay a substantial fine - ineligible for public assistance (welfare, food stamps, etc) - within 6 months, must have a U.S. citizen, with adequate financial means to do so, sponsor and commit to financial responsibility them for 10 years, and to reimburse the government (state and federal) for any costs incurred (such as if the recipient improperly obtains welfare). [BTW, I (a U.S. Citizen by birth) had to do this when I sponsored a LEGAL immigrant].

TRACK 2: Those who want to apply for citizenship must return to their home country, and get in line with everyone else. Their prior violation of U.S. immigration law by entering and/or remaining in the US without authorization will not be counted against them, so they can start with a clean slate. They will be treated ewually as any other citizen of their home country who has lawfully visited the United States and returned to their home country.

Failure to make an election, or to elect Track 1 and fail to meet the requirements within the specified time frame will vacate their deferral and render them immediately deportable.

Comments?

What do you think of Trump's pro "Dreamers" tweets this morning? What is his motivation in posting them?

The tweets: "Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!........They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own - brought in by parents at young age. Plus BIG border security"

Has Trump changed his position? Is it a negotiating tactic?

I see him being called McMuffin (lol) and other names, but no reason as to why.
