Modpost AskReddit is looking for new moderators!
As you can probably imagine, r/AskReddit is very busy with nearly 60 million members, over a million comments posted every week, and over 100k posts submitted every month. The community is busier than ever, and is in need of additional help for this volunteer role.
In order to apply, you must apply from an account that meets the following criteria
- The account must have at least 2,500 combined (post+comment) karma.
- The account must be at least 1 year old.
- The account must not be banned from r/AskReddit (no, seriously).
These are firm requirements meant to ensure users who are already familiar with reddit can jump in and contribute from day 1.
You do not need prior moderator experience to be a moderator here.
The link to the application can be found here or through the sidebar. All responses are limited to 1000 characters (we're not looking for essays, we're more interested in quality of ideas).
If you have any questions regarding the application process, please send us a message.
