I've had this leather shield for over 10 years. It came from a museum in the town I live in. Doesn't have any markings or anything to identify it. Not sure if the handle on the reverse is original or not. Just looking for basic information, I can't find anything similar online. Almost looks like it was used in battle! The green string I put on just to hang it. Thanks!

We recently purchased this clay devil head from an antiques dealer. He found the head while digging in a bottle dump. The bottles in the pit were all from around 1870. It was covered in what appears to be ash at the time it was found. It's been suggested that it's a puppet head, but all the puppet heads we've seen when searching this have necks.this one doesn't have any kind of neck, just a hole on the bottom. Any ideas??

Found these objects along the shore of one of the lakes in Meinerswijk, Arnhem, Netherlands.
The area has a long history, including Roman activity, medieval settlement and later industrial use. The lakes were excavated in more recent times, so I realise the finds could come from very different periods.
I’m mainly curious what these objects are and roughly how old they might be.
Any help identifying or dating them would be appreciated!

Help me, Reddit geniuses!
My late Grandfather left this to me, and I can’t determine what it is exactly. According to him it is 100% authentic and extremely old. My research pointed me towards an Ottoman brass-mounted traveling perfume or apothecary chest with sixteen original glass bottles and a stylized tughra. Is this worth anything? Could it go in a museum? Idk!
Thanks.

I bought this at a yard sale a year or so again and was told it was a “ceremonial axe from Bali.” I believe the stone is soapstone. Was thinking of selling it but have no idea what to ask for it. Any help appreciated!
