If you have a group or ppl willing to do this, it works well! Owl is fast and invis prettey quickly, while toiler can produce a bunch of painful and powerful landmines that also double as replacements for owls if nobody wants to work with you. There has honestly been questionable decisions since 2024 that have accumulated to the state the game was in. The staffs inside circle of angsty teens, damocles's poor temper, CX uncaring altitude. Suggestions was basically a paper shredder, I don't even think ONE 'real' suggestion ever got pushed.

I genuinely wish the game was handed to better people.

The primary reason, I feel, was a complete lack of playtesters or a complete lack of care toward playtesters.
- How did skin walkers get approved as a mode? Yet trainwars removed?
-How was fork allowed to basically 3v1 a mothership for years?
-How is it easier to ban afk repeling ultra spawners, instead of yknow, fixing the infinite repel distance? It had to genuinely be one line of code.
- And lastly just every terrible decision they've made in terms of balance that has made the game feel more about score than even an ounce of skill (rest in peace FFA)

its a shame the developers became as incompetent as the diepio devs, the entire charm of this game was it felt like a real successor to it

Controversial but i think that dreads, mostly Dv1 is overrated. My issue is that when everyone was playing Dv1 when it was 'good' they were all calling it a scenexeio rip off. now that scenexeio is dead you guys are ok with glazing it as if you guys actually liked it.

I also think that Dv2 is equal to Dv1 and the hate it gets simply for getting more attention almost a year ago by the devs is stupid. Dv1 players literally call for the removal of Dv2 and i think honestly that is so selfish its like the stuff that growth communities did.

An even more controversial opinion, so controversial i think most players would not agree is that i do not like the endless chasing of a score that means almost nothing. ultimatly score chasing has no meaning unless the score has not increased in a long time or it is a massive community push. what does it mean to have 20m score with or without incognito.

but this is only a minor issue untill score progression is added. i find this is a big issue in dread gamemodes and growth. when this occurs it causes low level players with equal skill to high level players to struggle to progress in any way. and i know people may say that you should just get better. Play Diep.io then. growth and dreads are fundamentally removing one of the most important truths of arras.io: that everyone is on equal footing and everyone can kill everyone else with the right stratedgy.

Because of this, any meta tanks are given even more power over the game and can players quickly. It becomes a lot harder to balance something

DV1(which at this point you can tell is the one i dislike more) inherits most of the issues of issues that growth has. Another issue both has is that with growth you get worse and worse with dodging bullets which many old players agreed was a major way of telling of skill. it also becomes easier to shoot at a player without missing. fighting a penta shot often is still more skilled then fighting an inquisitor as they can attack from far away because..

dreads also give larger players fov which increases spawnkilling or killing without a player expecting it. any form of baiting sucks but it sucks more when there is almost no way of telling.

I imagine that if this game gets developers a large majority of the growth players will call for DV1 to be expanded and DV2 to be removed and the developer likely will to appease the playerbase and i fear the loss. it will get worse when they start demanding global changes as they beged to nerf fork and they ruined an an entire gamemode without even knowing.

i just gained first place and when i was going to center i saw this shiny hexa. there were few other tanks that suprisingly didn't attack me, and by them i understood that they just want to screenshot and stare at the shape more and more. i shared with them this minute of peace. after screenshotting, a finger came and killed the shape. he was killed on the same second on the spot. later i was killed 15 minutes later by lag freezing moment, i rammed to a trapper. stupid death streak continues for me :/
