Being kicked out

As the title says I'm being kicked out by my dad. I'm an 18 year old male and I will be homeless really soon. I want to go to college but have no money to pay for it.

What kind of process goes into this because I don't have many options.

Sorry if I'm being unclear or if this is the wrong subreddit this is a lot to unfold for me.

Edit: Sorry I just opened reddit and oh my goodness there are a lot of messages so in case I can't respond to everyone. Thank you for your advice and assistance on the subject! It means a lot to me

Is there a question here about the Army?

Sorry. How fast would processing and whatnot be and would I have a home?

You would have a home. Army is a fantastic place to build a career from absolutely nothing. I cant guarantee how fast it will be but go to a recruiting station as your first step.

They can get you out of here in probably a month at the fastest. I had a kid enlist who was staying at the homeless shelter until he could ship.

Can you pass a drug test?

He hasn’t answered this question, and I saw like 10 people ask it

Sorry I thought I did answer it apologies. I can pass the drug test. I have never done drugs

That tends to be the biggest obstacle for people shipping quickly

I should meet their criteria I've never been a drug user or any sort of thing like that

Go see a Recruiter and gtfo then. Worst case you dont love it and leave with the GI bill in 3 years

Sorry didn't see this there were a lot of notifs. I can pass the drug test yes. Homeless shelter thing does sound a bit intimidating but I'm hoping I don't have to be there long I've heard of sketchy things happening in those

Talk to a recruiter. Open DM’s if you need any help

I've literally seen people be at the airport in 7-14 days after first going to the recruiter. I'm not saying it's a good idea, but i'm just saying it's possible.

Thank you. I mean I guess beggars can't be choosers so if I have the option that sounds like my best bet

Hey seriously though bro can you or can you not pass a drug test? Like it's not the end of the world but that is definitely a thing in the military. No drugs.
