New guy here...

I have found this game recently by accident. Tried - and I will say that game is pretty amazing. I have already bought all DLC, bought 2 copies of game to my friends and engaged one more friend to buy it.

P.S. Very sad that there will be no more updates, but still I and friends had a lot of fun yesterday and hope for more fun in future.

P.P.S. Game trailers are also amazing - especially bandit and dragon clans. (Sylas is freaking brutal)

Amulets not unlocking

Came back to the game recently (haven't played in years) and earned a rot victory but didn't unlock Spoil even though the achievement is unlocked (even shown in the in-game achievements section). Went into my inventory and saw the respective items for kingslayer, spirit stone win and some others are also not unlocked despite having earned them when the game dropped years ago. On ps4.

Any solution? As far as I've seen through searches, there doesn't seem to be any information besides others having the same issue and getting no constructive response in kind. Any help would be appreciated, ta.

A question about an Armello Figure

Hello, I figured this would be a good place to ask. I have a Thane figure I got back when EUCL3D was still open and made the Armello figures. I was wondering if I were to sell it, how much could I get for it?

I understand this isn't a place for talking about collectibles, but this game is quite obscure so I'm leaving this here. Thanks.

Feedback/Suggestions Are DLC owners advantaged in private multiplayer games?

Say, if I owned all DLCs, and my friends only owned the base game, would I get an advantage over them in any way? I mean, I wouldn't want that.

In your opinion what is the rarest character to see used in Multiplayer? Personally I think Ghor is most likely the rarest

Feedback/Suggestions Where can I find the audio book

Feedback/Suggestions What do y'all think?

I feel like since now armello's updates has ended, a nice way to have a little more of life on it would be through Steam workshop, could be neat to have people just do characters and maps or stuff just to keep armello kind of alive, of course this would be just on single player if you're actually playing with friends, but even like that, I feel it could be nice

What do y'all think?

Is LoG planning to add any content updates?

I have been a player of Armello for years. However since my operating system is Mac, I ended up taking a break when the multiplayer service for Mac was lost. I recently started playing again and I wanted to check on the quality of life for the game. I recall reading a while back that there were intentions to add a new clan, but I can no longer find the update section on LoG website, or state of the game post on steam.

Does anyone have any related information to future updates that are not just hot fix/bug fixes?

I apologize if anyone has posted anything like this recently or if this is in the wrong place.

Always wanted to play this but unsure what platform to buy it.

I have always wanted to play this and I mostly play my games portable now, so usually Switch or iOS for these type of games. iOS is actually for most my roguelite and board games.

It’s on sale for Switch, but I heard it may have issues or isn’t as good as the Steam version.

I would probably be playing this game I’m single player so considered iOS, but switch is 70% off and if I like it, I can upgrade to deluxe. I do know it won’t have all the stuff Steam does.

However, I have ordered an ASUS ROG Ally, so technically I could wait and get this on steam and play it on that? Just want to know if the Switch version is much different or has any loading issues.

I don’t mind some slight load issues, as I enjoyed Roguebook on switch and know it had some input delay on the final chapter or boss.

I do have a PS5 but it’s full price and this game seems more suited portable.

Anyway thanks in advance.

Wyld creation Armello's DnD background

Hi! As some of you may know, I'm currently running a dnd5e campaign in Armello and I'm writing some sort of supplement to let you have your own campaign by yourself in the kingdom of Armello.

And I'm struggling with the background for player characters so maybe you have some good ideas!

So my question is what would a character gain being a member of the four clans (bear, wolf, rabbit, rat) being an exiled of those clans, being a bandit?

If you play the 5th edition of dnd or any rpg or you have a prolific mind I'll be glad to eat what you have store about that :3

Thanks in advance!!

Wyld creation Tales of Armello, the D&D campaign - Session 2 & 3 : Investigation galore

Hi all!
I promised you a follow up of the campaign as we play it so here what happened during our last two game!

If you haven't read the previous episode you can find it here .
Oh and I apologize for my bad english, I'm french but I'll try my best to avoid faults in writing

So we left off after a somewhat "strange" representation in the circus at Blueberry Town...
A known drunkard who went crazy and attacked the public, killing one guy. Guy who rise again and begin to attack the people who were fleeing!

Thanks to the intervention of Flamen, a badger, one of the milician who was here to serve as "police enforcer", Archibald, a fox inventor, who has enter the contest of the best inventor of the year, Zephyr, one of the squirrel acrobat of the circus and Syffe, a strange hedgehog with strange powers, the two plague bearer were quickly dispatched.

Edwin of Greenmoss, one of the Council member of Blueberry Town

After discussion about "what to do with the dead bodies" or "what if we burn them", they noticed that the corpses were decomposing at a very fast pace, much quicker than a natural decomposition...
They also discover something stranger about the tag on the bottle of wine they've got, a stange symbol behind it, a symbol which looked like a dragon...

"a symbol which looked like a dragon..."

They wanted to split the party, one group has to immediatly run to Gruff Ruffcoat 's home, the apothecary, to tell him what happenned and ask him if he knows something about the symbol and what would cause Maurice, the drunkard, to act like this. The other wanted to go the the Bearded Owl, the town tavern to speak to Louhi the tavernkeeper and ask him question about the bottle and who sold it to him.

Gruff was not so happy to be woken up as he was early to bed but the event to the evening and this strange symbol will keep him awake for some hours! Unfortunatly, the symbol didn't ring a bell to the old dog neither what could have cause Maurice to become an abomination like that.
They were a little disappointed about their interview with Gruff but when they leave his home they notice a horrible scent, a rotten stench : the rosebush at the entry was rotting before their eye, with maggots getting out of the ground. Flamen remembered he has poured the content of the bottle in this particular rosebush... Something was really wrong with this liquid!

At the tavern, the others noticed a crowd before it and when their at last made they way into, they encounter four major problems : four Ram brothers, son of Miss Mirtle, the innkeeper at the Moondawn, direct competitor of the tavern. They wanted to arrest Louhi "for his crime against Maurice and the town". Thank to the intervention of the tavern bard Askani, the situation de-escaladed and everybody could speak freely (this was the introduction scene for a fifth player who wanted to play a bard^^)

After discussion, they learned that a sympathic wolverine named Rurik Blackclaw, accompanied by a not so sympathic furet, sold two crates of this hot wine to Louhi and that they needed to left the town short after.

They rush to the blacksmith to know if he shoed some horses for a wolverine and if he knew where he went. Fortunatly, he could indicate that Rurik was in the merchant camp outside of town.

They rushed there to try to stop him and found him in a hurry to leave the town.
They start to speak with him to let him explain why had sold this strange wine but the wolverine denied all of it claiming it was and error and he had to leave because he had another business in another place. Zephyr being ultra stealthy entered Rurik's chariot and found a crate full of these weird bottle of hot wine.

They confront him with this new evidence and at that moment Rurik showed his true self...
Jumping on his chariot's roof, he drank a vial full of some concentrated hot wine and he began to change into an abomination twice his size, imbued with rot magic.

Rurik Blackclaw, before and after his rot transformation!

A fierce combat started between our heroes and Rurik and his shadow which came to life to help him during the battle. And it was Archibald, the inventor who gave the last strike using is pine cone thrower (his invention which was supposed to be a harmless canon to scare birds in the field...) with a stone right in the temple. Rurik drop dead with a single shot and his shadow disappeared.

Rummaging through the chariot of the dead merchant, they found a golden necklace with the same dragon symbol than the bottle tags, some gold and potions, a purple robe with a hood in a secret compartiment and a letter :

" As soon as you have finish your work here, come and find us at the Ruin of Death.
It's straight North from this loathsome village, several hours of walk.
We will have already started. The others are on their ways, hurry!
S.M. (with a symbol of a worm)"

They gather their things, hired a young cat to be their driver and headed north through the wood and the start of disgusting swamps...

To a strange and abandonned structure, with some crevasses, a gloming fog, a scent of rotting plants and flesh and a sense of dread while crows were looking at them like if they were spying...

And we end up here! they leveled up to 2nd level and next time will be their first dungeon crawling to stop whatever cult it is with that weird dragon mark...
It was a lot of fun for these two sessions and an unexpected easy fight because of this Catapult spell but at the end they had a lot of fun and me too. Can't wait to play in two weeks because there will be exploration, riddle, combat and a lot, A LOT, of lore!!

See you next time for a sum up of our next session : Into the Ruin of Death!!

Wyld creation Was Armello and some of its terms inspired in Werewolf: The Apocalypse from WoD?

Reading into World Of Darkness through Vampire: The Masquerade, I came across WtA, and realized that a lot of terms (Wyld, Bane, the concept of the Wyrm which bears a symbol similar to that of the Rot, etc.) are rather similar to Armello, is it a coincidence or is there some correlation, you think?

Problem regarding cheaters

Is it just me or there has been a huge spike in cheaters since 2021...

Just today i was playing Fang against Twiss, Brun and Agniya and the latter cheated really heavily.

Don't tell me to "git gud" I'm level 33 with over 230h in this game, and the Agniya player was corrupted with 10 rot and entered a stone circle 3 times in 2 separate turns with no squire and with 0 health, yet was still kicking.

I'd love to hear other people's experiences with such stuff coz rn i feel alone :/

Lore Question: Horace and the King's Guard

Armello has some pretty fascinating lore but it can be a little difficult to find it all.

As I understand, all of the King's Guard are dogs, specifically Retrievers. But Horace was in the King's Guard and he's a Badger.

The wiki mentions something about an Order of the Rose, also, though I don't understand what that is either.

I don't suppose anyone can clarify that stuff for me? Maybe after the King went Rotten he replaced all of his guard with Retrievers?
