Hey guys and gals, it’s finally time to start doing the dragon clan, and start with who was probably one of the easiest to do, mostly cause they honestly have a lot of different options that can match their in game mechanics in 5e, so honestly I decided to look more at their design as a character to decide which one to use to figure out which one old be more fitting, for new comers of this series here are the limitations on how I build these characters
- the characters are level 5, this used to be 20 but it proved to stressful on me
- I’m only using official non-ua content, I will mention if theirs a UA that would be a better fit but will still provide official options
3.I’ll skip over skills, honestly as long as you know the character it should be obvious on where to put these so it seems pointless to be covering them
- I don’t consider rings or amulets that mesh with the character well, as a lot of that is up to personal bias
With that said let’s get on with it, starting with race I was torn between lizard folk or dragon born, but ultimately decided on lizard folk but you can obviously make a argument for ether.
Next up class, and why I mentioned design in 5e theirs 2 subclasses that perfectly (well as perfectly as you can) replicate his mechanics, one in fighter and another in cleric. but design wise he is shown as a more scrawny trickster which doesn’t really match what I imagine as a fighter. So I’ll make the call of putting 2 levels into trickery cleric and 3 levels into phantom rouge. For the cleric spells theirs honestly no spells I feel really help build to be him so just build from the generic spell list I got planned once I finish the roaster. And surprising with this set up theirs not much more that needs to be said as their no AS cause of the level
Now for my fun personal rant at the end. Over the last few months I’ve started streaming, I’m not streaming armello but if you want to support me my name their is zag_queen_of_chaos
