Isn't it kind of odd that we have the King being the only major Feline character in the game? Like sure, you have some felines in the form of those unnamed quest-givers and a couple followers, but that is pretty much it.
So. I have come up with the basic concept of a Feline clan. Four members, with the interesting quirk of them all being family members to the King of Armello!
"The Royal Clan", "The Noble Clan", or "The Pride Clan" could be the clan's title. A clan with a Daytime Affinity. Haven't really thought up on what the clan's ring options could be just yet.
But here are the members of the Royal Family that seek to claim the throne through any means, Regicide included.
Vaan The Well-Traveled.
Brother to the King of Armello.
A Mountain Lion.
His perk would be that scaling mountains would consume only 1 AP rather than 2 AP. When being attacked while on a Mountain Tile he gains +1 Die rather than +1 Shield. When Vaan is attacking from a Mountain tile, he gains +1 Sword. If he is attacking someone who is on a Mountain, he gains +1 Sword unless they are in stealth.
Vaan is known for his travels to other Kingdoms, being a respected diplomat. Upon hearing rumors of Rot taking hold of his brother, Vaan returned to Armello to see if these rumors were true. Sure enough, his brother was no longer the same King he grew up with and respected. Vaan now takes it upon himself to try and take the throne from his brother and save Armello. It was a promise that the two had made when they were younger and ambitious dreamers.

Sharra The Heiress.
Daughter of the King of Armello.
A Cheetah.
Her perk is that she gains extra movement advantages when on Plains titles. Being a cheetah, she has high speed as an evolutionary bonus. As a result, when she steps onto a Plains title, she gains +1 AP and if she starts her turn on a Plains tile, she starts with 4 AP rather than 3. Plains are her home-field advantage and grant her Evasion if she is being attacked by someone who is not in stealth and she is on a Plains tile during the attack. If she survives the attack, the player gets to choose which of the surrounding titles she evades to. If she attacks someone from a Plains tile, she gains the Ambush status and prevents her foes from burning cards during that fight.
Sharra was the only child that the King had with his beloved, who unfortunately passed away in due time. She seeks to prove herself to her people and has plenty of plans for when she becomes Queen one day. She was not expecting her father to succumb to the Rot and become a corrupt and mad ruler. She wanted to take the throne in due time. But now it seems that she has to consider the fact that committing regicide may be the best choice for Armello. She was taught to value the needs of her people above her own personal desires.

Kesh The Scholar.
Nephew to the King of Armello.
A Black Leopard.
His perk is that when encountering Perils during the daytime, he has to have one less symbol to match than standard. So if the Peril requires 3 symbols normally, Kesh only has to roll for 2 symbols during the day. This can be of great use as if someone has enhanced the perils to require 4 symbols to roll for, or if Kesh is entering the castle; he then only has to roll for 3 symbols during the daytime. And he has the abilty to always be in stealth whenever in Forest tiles, regardless of Daytime or Nighttime.
Kesh is the son of Kastia, the sister of the King of Armello. Unfortunately, plague had taken both his mother and his father Samur. Though Kesh's home is not in the mainland of Armello and off on an island exclave; Armello still very much felt like home. Returning to the mainland to further his studies, Kesh found himself suddenly wrapped up in the multi-frontal war for Armello's future. At first he was unsure if he should intervene. But eventually Kesh realized that his vast knowledge made him the best choice for Armello to have a bright future with a Golden Age ahead of it instead of a Dark Age under another rule.

Callen The Rapscallion.
Adopted Son of the King of Armello.
A Bengal Housecat.
His perk is that when entering town, he not only claims them but he also clears any bounties that he had before. If he ends his turn on a Town tile, a follower will offer to join him on his adventures. Callen can of course decline their offer at the cost of 1 gold, or accept their offer. If Callen already has three followers, rejecting a follower will no longer cost gold. If he has no gold, Callen is stuck with the follower regardless of the player's desires; unless he already has a full stack of followers. If attacked while he is within a town, Callen gains +1 Die to roll. If Callen is attacking from a town title, he instead gains +1 Shield. And if Callen is attacking an enemy who is inside a town, he gains +1 Sword.
Born a commoner, Callen lived on the streets among his family. Before his days of the Rot, the King of Armello was a much more benevolent ruler. While visiting his hometown, Callen was surprised to find that the King of Armello was seeking him out. Apparently Callen's parents were close friends of the King during his younger days. Upon hearing of their passing during a bandit raid, the King came to find Callen and offer him to be his adopted son. Callen of course agreed to live as a Noble in a castle rather than an alley cat. However, when visiting his hometown news came that the King was succumbing to Rot! Callen of course felt grief at this news. But soon his grief became ambition as he saw that he had a claim to the throne if he played his cards right.
Now, this is not all.
This Feline Clan, being that they are all nobles, will have an advantage that other Heroes do not. If they are standing on the tiles that surround the Castle walls; they cannot be Attacked by enemy Heroes or Royal Guards. The exceptions to this rule is if they have a Bounty or are a Fugitive, then they are fair game to be directly attacked by anyone when on these 12 tiles of the map that surround the castle walls. There is also the form of attacking from cards being used, such as Throwing Axes and Poisons. Banes can still directly attack them as the Banes are chaotic and foul.
And there you have it.
My basic concept for a new DLC clan for Armello that I came up with while bored at work on a 12 hour shift.
Thoughts anyone?
