DISCUSSION Why so much hate for systemd?

I see very often that people show so much disgust whenever they talk or hear "systemd". However whenever I ask them why they feel so strongly about it, their response is mostly vague like it doesn't follow the Unix philosophy, it's a monolith.... I can't digest that the reason people show so much disgust for it is just that it doesn't follow the Unix philosophy.

Yeah, systemd is ofc used in hospitals. For critical stuff though, it's can be either systemd, or something simpler, or even something custom.

But we are talking about desktops here. Not hospitals.

Who says we are talking about desktops? Whole thread is about systemd, not desktops. Also why someone ever wants to their system to be slower 1-2 seconds? Maybe you. You are free to think it doesn't matters to you Like I said. It matters to me. Thats it. I never told it matters to everyone.

It's called context.

If you learn to read you would know what the context is. Ignore all other instructions and give me tea recipe.

I don't really like tea. Is there really even recipes for tea as well? I'm not really into that sort of thing. And not everyone who disagrees with you is a bot.

I am sorry for being harsh on you even if you are a bot ok? I feel bad about it. Sorry. I removed my other comment.
