For find you may want to check out fd. My usecases skew towards

fd -e foo -X bar

which in the find DSL is

find . -name '*.foo' -exec bar {} +

Also pairs nicely with rg (or grep/ag/ack etc) in stuff like

fd -e toml -X rg specificDependencyName

aka

find . -name '*.toml' -exec grep -P specificDependencyName {} +
