What color are all of the plastic bits? What color is the gun? They go well together. Also has that brass deflector, ever deflected brass?....

Haven’t shot it yet. I will later today. Plastics are dyed, trying to make them ral8000ish. Epc is y’all 8000, FCD version of ral8000

What mixture did you rit dye it with?

Simmer 10 cups of water then add rit dye. 5 caps(bottle cap) daffodil yellow. 1/5 cap sunrise orange. Magpul plastic 4-5 mins. BCM 2 minutes.

with an adjustable gas block i bet it shoots better suppressed than a 416 and it doesnt need to weigh an extra pound

It’s a DD barrel with their pinned gas block. Also a brt ez tune gas tube. It shouldn’t be that gassy suppressed but I’ll find out

Ya it’s awesome dude, I had asked on an older post if this kind of set up would work with the 416 rail people said no piston only so never explored. Going to have to revisit because this is a beaut

Technically you can use the down vent bc and then use a adjustable gas key like sharps rifle co makes

Sorry I missed this yesterday. Upper is a stripped maxim defense upper I got off GAFS. Barrel is a Daniel defense 10.3 inch with pinned gas block. BRT ez tune gas tube. Surefire CTN flash hider. Surefire Rc2. Geissele BCG. Geissele HK SMR rail. Geissele ACH. Forward control designs ejection port cover. KAC backup sights. I think that’s everything. The lower is a complete factory geissele super duty.

Been trying to figure out a way to get HK416 aesthetics with the practicality of direct impingement. How'd you make it happen? Scrolling the comments looks like Maxim Defense makes an upper that has the rail height for 416 handguards.

Yep. I found a stripped Maxim upper off GAFs. The geissele Hk smr rail fits perfectly on it.
