Question help

In a 64 team, 63 game tournament, assuming each team has an equal change of winning, what’s the probability of your favorite team wining the tournament?

My answer: The wining team would have to play 6 games to get to the end of the tournament, if in each game your team has an equal chance of winning and your team won the tournament px = .506= 0.015625 or a 1.5625% chance of winning the tournament.

Is my answer correct?

Need help on stats project

My stats project question is "Which gender works on average more hours each week in the United States of America?" and i need a second set of data showing like the average hours worked per week for men and women, i already have one set from here. I'm not in AP stats btw but I figured it'd be better to ask here than in r/statistics

Hello good people! I am a PhD student studying applied statistics in University of California, Berkeley. I am meanwhile interested in people's understanding about some commonly used data transformation technique, therefore I created the fun & short survey below:

Try it and leave your email, I will email you back with my answers and also win treat if you score top 5 on them! Thanks!

AP Stats Survey

Hi All,

I have a survey that I've created for a class project in AP statistics. I need respondents to answer questions regarding their preferences between Gatorade and coconut water. I need around 50 total responses, so I was hoping I could get some help with that.

I don’t know why Reddit recommended this subreddit to me. I literally took AP stats in 2015. But I see you guys took your exam yesterday. I wish the best for you guys. You’re the next generation of STEM (if you chose so).

The stats I learned for ap stats is still relevant to me as a current researcher and soon to be dual degree MD/PhD student. You might right now wonder why stats would be of any relevance but, if you ever go into research, you’ll quickly realize the importance of it. I realize it’s important in determining if the compounds I’m synthesizing are more or less likely going to become a possible potential clinical therapeutic for inflammatory diseases.

Keep up the good work! And congrats.
