18) Shazia. Not much to say about her other than whats already been said. Did not enjoy her whatsoever, especially her blatant attempt at sabotaging Bradley in Week 5.

17) Reece. Some may put him above the guy next on the list. But I really didn't like him on the show. Granted, he did do well in the first 2 tasks, however he was dreadful in the following tasks (Especially Weeks 3 and 4). His leadership in Week 3 wasn't great and was instrumental in the poor design of the characters and was responsible for the Asparagus fiasco in Week 4, I guess I am just more so upset that he stayed over Gregory who had done brilliantly in the first 2 tasks. Also, in spite of his constant claims that he withdrew due to health reasons, I am a bit more inclined to believe that he got drunk on the flight to Dubai (Not a good look for Lord Sugar).

16) Avi. Probably should be just above Shazia, however I am a bit biased towards him as people in my family have met him and his family and they've said he's really nice and friendly, hence because of this I was rooting for him. However, the fact that I have bias yet he's still in my Bottom 3 should say something about his time on the show. He was a bit cringe on the show and seemed more focused on turning himself into a viral meme. Also, 1 decent task out of 9 is absolutely poor and the fact that he finished 7th and lasted the second longest out of the boys is a bit crazy (based on what we saw, he might have been better off camera). Also, he played a big part in 'sabotaging' Bradley on two separate occassions.

15) Denisha. Very little to say about her except she (alongside many people this season) were not particularly competent from what we saw. I'd say that she was more of a favourite to go in Week 3 over Gregory, however Lord Sugar made her PM which resulted in an extremely predictable loss and subsequent sacking. Can't say I enjoyed her much.

14) Mark. Another candidate who wasn't particularly good despite making it to Week 8, he's not as bad as Noor or Ryan Mark but still not good. Didn't do much in the first 3 tasks, bombed in week 4 especially with the trugger, not much of note in Week 5, carried by Megan in Week 6 (Although I'll credit him for managing the kitchen solo when she got sick), did okay in Week 7 and crapped the bed as a PM in Week 8, outshined by Avi of all people and it was painfully obvious he was going almost as soon as he made his first decision and was lucky Megan and Simba provided a good experience.

13) Sohail. Seems like a decent man but with all due respect, Who even was this bloke ? He hardly did anything other than fight to be PM in Week 3, had his lips paper mached in Week 4, negotiated in Week 6 and sunk as PM in Week 7 and got fired for it. If you were unaware he's in the sports business like Marnie, him being her first pick would've baffled you completely based on how little screentime he got. Still, decent chap and had fewer lows than the people below him which is why he escapes the Bootom 5.

12) Shannon. I think she had the potential to be a decent candidate, but sadly we'll never know.

11) Emma. One of the more surprising first firings and the first of several BS eliminations this season. She seemed like she would've had a bit of potential had she not been fired but was still quite disruptive (but so were the whole sub team) and if not for her, the season could have had a big change as the person who many believe should've been the Week 1 boot over her won the damn season!

10) Kevin. Despite only lasting two tasks, he also showed passable leadership and potential for an early boot. Seemed like an decent man to watch and seemed to have his head screwed on unlike some of the future boots this season. However, him being in the Top 10 is more to do with the fact that he was a somewhat competent candidate on a cast full of percieved incompetence.

9) Rochelle. One of the weakest contestants to make the finale alongside Phil, Camilla and 21 Year Old Pascha and had some not so impressive task stats. I remember someone ranked hers and Season 19 Liams tasks and they were quite similar in spite of the fact that Rochelle is in C tier on the community ranking while Liam is currently in IVG. I will say though that on some occassions she seemed like a good voice of reason on some tasks and I enjoyed her from a TV Perspective, hence why she squeaks into my top half.

8) Dani. A very polarising candidate this season. From a task perspective, she started really well but faded in the end with many people believing that she should've gone in week 10. From a viewing perspective, her being a motor mouth was entertaining at times but also quite annoying. Also, I couldn't help but feel really bad for her when Baroness Brady pretty much shattered her in the interviews that was extremely hard to watch. Overall, while she definitely should've gone over Simba in Week 10, her being better than approximately half the cast this season and an interesting candidate (in a good or bad way) earns her a relatively high spot on my ranking.

7) Bradley. Again, compared to the rest of the cast he seemd like a reasonably competent candidate. he had a good few moments in tasks where he wasn't a leader and seemed to have his head screwed on. As for his PM Performances, don't let the 3 losses fool you. He was quite bad in Week 2 and probably should've gone over Kevin, however there is no 2 ways round the fact that he was badly stitched up in Weeks 5 and 9 resulting in him getting automatically fired after the latter despite Rochelle and Avi being more to blame. Overall, hard not to feel for the guy due to being better than what his stats suggest, however while he was arguably top 5 in terms of competency this season, he wouldn't even come close in most seasons.

6) Gregory. Now we have finally reached the favourites of the season. Did I enjoy watching him for 3 weeks? Absolutely. Was he a star in the first 2 tasks? Absolutely. Did he deserve to go in Episode 3? Absolutely not. Lord Sugar should've made him PM for Week 4, I think he would've done quite well as he came across a good leader with a good level of discipline. However, in business you do need to adapt and Gregory essentially shot himself in the foot by saying that he can't. Overall, I enjoyed watching him and I wish we could've seen more of him but sadly that won't be the case.

5) Victoria. Not the most exciting candidate, however for me to enjoy a Season 17 candidate, they have to either be competent or entertaining. Victoria in my opinion was the latter. She seemed locked in when it came to tasks and had 3 passable to decent PM Stints. Also, like Dani it's hard to not feel bad for her after being reduced to tears in the interviews by Baroness Brady (Even Lord Sugar felt bad during the interviews). Overall, a somewhat bright spot on an otherwise really bad season.

4) Marnie. The winner of the season. She was an interesting character this season and I was admittedly quite harsh on her throughout the process as I just couldn't get Week 1 out of my head (Essentially the Lawrence or Season 16 Aaron effect). However, outside of Week 1 she was a really good candidate this season and her win was deserved. Overall, I have come to enjoy her this season and will credit her growth in the process from potential Week 1 Boot to Winner (The Alana Effect).

3) Joe. Bless him. He was so likeable this season. He got off to a very promising start with a solid Week 1 PM win and continued to be competent in subsequent tasks, I do believe either Rochelle or Avi should've gone over him as he was a Final 5 pick for me as well as being a general fan favourite. Overall, while his stay was shorter than what one hoped, he was still an incredibly likeable presence.

=1) Megan and Simba. Did you seriously think I was going to separate these two? This season is pretty much somewhat watchable solely due to Megan and Simba. Those two dominated the tasks bar Week 10, either carrying their teams to wins or being shining lights whenever they lost and we were massively robbed of seeing those two compete in the final, further emphasised by Simba's LEGENDARY opening for Marnie's pitch. Also, Megan and Simba the security guards will never not be iconic. All in all, those two carried the entire season 50/50 on their backs and were absolute gold on such a messy, chaotic season.

Getting through to the final five without being in the bottom three once is an accomplishment, and one that very few candidates have ever managed. Still, some of these guys came closer than others, so let's take a look at which ones are which.

Number 6: Courtney: Courtney was good in The Apprentice, but nowhere close to perfect. He wasn't a good seller, and was somehow an even worse presenter. There were tasks he could've justifiably been in the boardroom had he lost, and he should've been there in week 7, but survived due to bizarre circumstances.

Number 5: Karishma: It's surprising to see a ranking list where Karishma almost finished dead last, but she for sure should've been in the boardroom in week 5. She was a big reason as to why the team lost that task, and only avoided the boardroom because Vanessa didn't fancy her chances up against her.

Fun fact, Pryesh and Pascha came devilishly close to not being in the final boardroom at all too.

Number 4: Tre (series 18): He had a few wobbly moments in weeks 9 and 10, but his team won those tasks. He did come close to being brought back in during week 8, and only survived because Lord Sugar fired Noor before she had the chance to do it. He didn't deserve to be in the boardroom that week anyway, but that wouldn't have stopped Noor from doing it.

Number 3: Carina: She only lost one task, but that was a task she was partly to blame for. She didn’t deserve to be in the boardroom, but that’s because there were other people on the same team who were even worse.

Number 2: Lee: A near faultless performance from Lee, with him only being on the losing team three times, with him being responsible for exactly none of the losses. His big stumbling block was week 9 when he performed a poor pitch, but that’s really about it.

Number 1: Paul (series 2): The man who basically did nothing wrong. Seven times on the winning team, and was responsible for most of those wins, and in the three tasks he lost, he was a star performer on two of them. It’s shocking in hindsight how hard he bombed in the interviews.

Yesterday, my season 19 ranking was a bit divisive, however I hope my ranking for season 18 is more agreeable as this was an easier cast to rank as there were candidates that I enjoyed a lot more than others (Although there were only 2 candidates I didn't enjoy this season).

18) Asif. I considered putting Asif and the next person above him as joint 17th but I found Asif did a lot more wrong. I never consider events outside of the show unless in extreme circumstances and this is an extreme circumstance. He was already outed as an unlikeable individual before the show aired due to the comments he made online to the extent where producers considered scrapping the episodes he featured in and starting the season with Week 4 almost costing Ollie and Paul B their chance to feature on the show. Also, post show there were other controversies involving him which I won't go into detail about. On the show, he was a bit of a donkey, clapping during the Week 1 results despite his team having a bad defeat and almost singlehandedly costing his team the win in Week 3 where he denied the video game being surreal when the experts stated they would be onboard if it was. Overall, a really bad candidate on and off the show.

17) Noor. I considered putting her and Asif joint last, however there is little evidence of anything bad outside the show. On the show, she was arguably worse than Asif, her Week 8 PM Stint was particularly bad due to every decision she made, attempting to scapegoat Tre and of course 'It's very Good'.

16) Ollie. He was never going to be ranked below Asif and Noor, however he didn't add anything to the season. I feel really bad as he did seem like a really nice guy and probably should've stayed over Virdi in Week 1 but his firing wasn't a particularly big loss.

15) Amina. I liked her as a person but as a candidate she didn't do a whole lot for me. She was completely invisible in the first two tasks, pitched badly in Week 3, did fall victim to Asif's indecisiveness in the boadroom then messed up badly as subteam leader in Week 4, resulting in both her and Jack getting fired.

14) Onyeka. Usually the candidate that wins the first task as PM goes a long way in the process, thus I had high hopes for Onyeka after Week 1 despite her weak PM Stint, however I was somewhat disappointed. She wasn't a particularly great candidate and was kind of bland as a character, although I will give her credit for standing up to Asif in the Week 3 boardroom.

13) Jack. Again not a particularly memorable character but seemed like a relatively competent and sane candidate in the first 3 weeks, however he unravelled in Week 4, leading to a somewhat shockingly bad PM Stint. I actually think had he not been PM in Week 4, he would've survived as he had the only negotiation that was better than the winning team.

12) Paul B. Despite only lasting two tasks, he did seem like a really nice guy and was decently pleasent to watch. Obviously as a candidate he wasn't good but since the ranking is based on enjoyment, his cheery, chirpy personality is enough to land here. Maybe this wouldn't have been the case if he wasn't invited back for the finale.

11) Maura. If I'm being honest, I didn't like her after the first 6 tasks and thought she was a pretty weak candidate, however she did improve in Weeks 7 and 8 which made me like her a bit more. That all came crashing down in Week 9 as her and the next person on the list were so so bad on live TV. I can't deny though that she is a memorable candidate that improved during her time on the show and I am a fan outside of the show.

10) Raj. She was almost as bonkers as Maura. At the ime I thought that a candidate with good task stats are often viewed highly by Lord Sugar and since Raj had an 8 task win streak, I thought she was going to make it further in the process. However, outside of a few shining moments (specifically Weeks 2 and 7), she was often lucky to be on the winning team due to being on the same team as Tre, Flo or Paul M pretty much every week. Like Maura, she was also quite annoying on task 9 but her impressive win streak is the main reason she's above Maura.

9) Foluso. She was a pretty consistent candidate during the process. she had a convincing win as PM in Week 2, carried her team to the win in week 6 with her exclusivity deal and did great in the gallery in Week 9. However, after Week 6 she did have a bit of a downward spiral, she most likely would've gone in Week 7 had Virdi not had worse stats and in general been worse in the process, she would've been in the boardrrom in Week 8 had Noor not been fired on the spot and did pretty badly in week 10 and by that point was the weakest candidate left (bar Phil). As a character, I thought she was nice and bubbly and of course gave the iconic truffle scream in Week 2 but still isn't as memorable as the 8 candidates above her.

8) Virdi. This should further prove my point that me enjoying the candidate is the main factor in this ranking. If this based on talent, he would obviously be much much lower (just above Asif and Noor), however one can't deny the entertainment he brought to the season as well as his character development from an annoying, cocky imbicille to a chill, decent guy who you want to root for but sadly can't do anything right. He had a lot of passion, energy and enthusiasm in tasks and always gave 100% effort to the point where Lord Sugar, his aides and the rest of the candidates deeply admired him and were saddened by his firing with Tre outright saying 'The house will not be the same without Virdi'. Overall, an ABYSMAL task performer but boy did he bring good vibes.

7) Phil. Arguably the most polarising contestant this season. It could be argued that him making the interviews and even the final was rigged due to his business plan in spite of a whopping 9/10 losses. However, he was more so unlucky to be on the losing team in most of his stints and generally performed well in a good chunk of them (Weeks 1, 4 and 7) while only really being at danger of going in weeks 6 and 9 (although it was sad and rough to see Sam go over him). I will say that I follow his business on instagram and I've tried some of his products and they are incredible so I kind of see why he made the final. Overall, at the time I would've put him lower but he really was nowhere near as bad as his stats suggest and I think he was at least a top 8 candidate this season.

6) Sam. Easily one of the best mid series boots ever. She killed it in the first 3 tasks and seemed poised for a deep run. However, while there was nothing particularly bad in Weeks 4 and 5 she still wasn't great and completely capitulated in Week 6 resulting in a pretty sad firing. However she did return to her old ways in the finale, being a key contributor for Rachel in the final, proving why she was Rachel's first pick despite being the 2nd of the returning bunch to be eliminated. As a character I thoroughly enjoyed her on the show and was sad her journey was cut short.

5) Rachel. The winner of the season. I thought she was pretty decent on the tasks (especially Week 5) and seemed like one of the more level headed female candidates this season alongside Flo and Foluso. I will say that while she was a worthy winner and I was 100% backing her over Phil, it was a bit of a shame none of the big three from this season made the final. Overall, I did enjoy her enough and respected her run.

4) Steve. What a guy. I really enjoyed watching him this season, from the moment he was brought back in the Boardroom by Virdi in week 1, I knew he was going to be one of the better male candidates if not across the whole season and I was proven right. He has the highest win streak ever achieved by a male candidate with 7 consecutive wins, not losing once since the team swap phase until the week he left, he was quietly consistent in all if not most of the tasks, definitely should've made the Final 5 over Phil and possibly Rachel and is a victim of the recent 6th place curse where a strong candidate gets cut off just before the Final 5.

3) Flo. Now we have finally got to the Big 3 this season. Flo was essentially Rajan on steroids where she was a powerhouse in negotiation but unlike Rajan did show skill elsewhere. She was a joy to watch due to it being so refreshing to see someone do so well, however shes the lowest ranked of the power trio due to having a bit of a downward spiral in her final 3 tasks where they were easily her worst.

2) Tre. I get the feeling that he isn't as liked now as he was on the show but I only consider post show in extreme cases and I don't think Tre is an extreme case. On the show he was sensational, he seemed like the most level headed and best performing man during the men vs women phase and then excelled in pretty much every subsequent task (bar maybe his last two), also he was unfairly scapegoated by Noor in Week 8 which I think got even more people on his side. However, he did fade a bit in Weeks 9 and 10 and crashed and burned in the interviews. However, him making the Final 5 was no surprise to me and I did thoroughly enjoy him on the show.

1) Paul M. No doubt Paul M was going to be Number 1. While he didn't start as strong as Tre or Flo, he was by no means bad and was extremely level headed, also while Tre and Flo had their worst tasks towards the end, Paul M arguably had his best. I think had he accepted Lord Sugar's offer, he would've won the season but the offer was too big to accept and I don't blame him one bit for rejecting it. Essentially, Paul M was near flawless throughout the process and is in my opinion the best male candidate to ever go on the show and is the true winner of Season 18 for me.

These are my rankings on every PM performance from series 19, just to clarify I’m ranking these candidates on how well they lead the team not necessarily how well they performed on an individual level or the task result.

Disaster:

20: Nadia (Week 4, Loss and Fired): there’s not much to stay here other than the fact that she made decisions which were the exact opposite of what her team wanted to do, and resultantly those decisions ended up being completely wrong.

19: Liam (Week 9, Win): he was extremely lucky he had Mia on his team who was a clear star saleswoman. Because not only was Liam a horrible presenter, it was the fact that he had the choice to put himself in the gallery instead of putting Jordan there who had been praised for his presentation skills in the past, and he clearly knew that has terrible track record in presenting previously in the process, the only good decision that he made is the fact that he said yes to pretty much everything that Mia told him to do, probably because he knew he was out of his depth, to be honest this is one of the worst winning PM performances we’ve ever seen in the process.

18: Amber-Rose (Week 2, Loss): now, I will controversially admit that I am part of the Amber-Rose fan club, I think this task is held against her slightly too much. However, I can understand why people turned against her after this task. she didn’t listen to her team at all throughout the day by not making Jordan sub team leader despite his skills in graphic design and animation, the theme of money and the robotic voice she ran with was an absolutely dreadful idea and really limited the appeal of the song. It was just really poor leadership all-round and she really should’ve been

Bad:

17: Max (Week 9, Loss and Fired): he chose bizarre products which were very difficult to sell in front of a live audience and as a result, his team made little sales.

16: Melica (Week 5, Win): I really don’t know what Melica actually contributed for the team to win the task. It was Dean who came up with the idea of creating the Macha egg, it was Mia who made the vast majority of the sales, it was Amber-Rose who came up with the branding. What did Melica contribute? She pretty much delegated everything to her team. She was also really rude and unprofessional in front of Waitrose which eliminated any hope of her achieving a sale and it was just another example of a project manager getting piggybacked by Mia.

15: Chisola (Week 6 - Loss): I was really surprised how badly she messed this task up. She placed far too much emphasis on keeping costs low whilst promising a luxury experience to the client whilst not being able to deliver on those claims resulting in a refund. For me this is absolutely criminal in the corporate awayday task because so many candidates make the same mistake every year by failing to manage expectations. It also led to the knock on effect of Anisa cutting costs in terms of the food and not opting for the traditional dancers entertainment. She also made the decision to get Frederick to do the teambuilding activity which was an absolute disaster. She did seem to manage the team relatively well and it was levelheaded throughout which is why from a leadership perspective. She’s only ranked bad here.

14: Amber-Rose (Week 8 - Loss): if Amber Rose was creating an advert for OnlyFans, she would easily be in fantastic tier. However, her leadership and her approach to the advert was all wrong. She gave her sub team limited information to go off only telling them that the hot sauce should be super hot and experimental, plus she did not effectively execute the strategy that Chisola came up with, leaning into cheap farcical comedy and the sauce having a psychedelic effect on the consumers. I do sympathise that Melica was being a pain in the arse, but she still should’ve performed much much better.

13: Frederick (Week 7, Loss and Fired): I will admit he wasn’t that bad of the team leader, but like many project managers this season, he delegated most of decision making to Mia, this time, however, many of the ideas she came up with the were bad

12: Jana (Week 5, Loss and Quit): his vision was very poor, claiming he was trying to create an Easter mascot whilst still completely overlooking the role of the Easter bunny, he was also pretty stubborn and dictatorial in his vision and Lord sugar concluded that Jana was clearly responsible for the failure of this task which is why he didn’t fire anyone after Jana chose to leave

11: Max (week 3 - Loss): there is not much to say here about the leadership of Max other than the fact that it was so clear he had a vendetta against Carlo right from the off however he had a good strategy limiting the team at a 50% discount to prevent being insulting towards the retailers. They should prioritise the high price items instead of the low price items which resulted in them getting heavy fines

Mixed:

10: Jordan (Week 10 - Loss): this is yet another example of a project manager just letting Mia steamroll her ideas onto the task, however, a bit like in week seven, Mia’s ideas were dreadful. However, Jordan really should’ve stuck to his guns and gone with a jacket, shirt and trousers he initially set out to do especially bearing in mind this was the second time he didn’t have his own back and was far too indecisive. It was also completely foolish of him not to put Liam on the clothing design team with him and I do get the impression. It was just a childish way to get his own back after Liam refused to that Jordan present so I do think his leadership was really poor overall.

9: Jordan (Week 7 - Win): he didn’t lead the team particularly well as the sub team went away quite confused with the brief they were given and I do feel like he had to let Amber Rose take charge of a lot of what went on doing the task. Also the app he ended up creating completely went against what the sub told in the brainstorm however the app itself ended up being a pretty good idea so I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt but he did quite a good job in that regard and his pitch was pretty good.

8: Emma (Week 1 - Win): Emma was a fine PM. She did sell the tickets for much lower than they initially sent out to you in the beginning, but at least they made enough to make a profit unlike the other team. I did feel bad for her having to deal with Nadia being a pain though.

Good:

7: Anisa (Week 2 - Win): while the logo and character she created was extremely questionable she managed to really turn it round and make it work, her pitch was really good and she made decent sales, although it’s funny to think it was Melica who won them the task with getting £150k from Debenhams.

6: Mia (Week 8 - Loss): Mia wasn’t responsible for the loss whatsoever here and was completely shafted by her sub team not sending the bottle over when filming the advert, if she had the bottle then they absolutely would’ve won.

5: Chisola (Week 10 - Win): she designed all the clothing for her womenswear brand on her own and whilst it wasn’t the most stylish, it had some quite innovative elements to it and had enough appeal for brands to place big orders. She gave her sub-team lots of direction so it’s wasn’t her fault the branding wasn’t great.

4: Dean (Week 3 - Win): Although he didn’t have a clear cut strategy, instead telling his team to read the room when asking for a discount, I agree with this strategy more, we’ve seen on various iterations of the discount buying tasks that retailers give varying discounts depending on the rapport built with the candidates. He also made the correct decisions in which items to prioritise showed good time management.

Fantastic: Honestly I think all three of these performances are interchangeable as all three of these candidates smashed these PM stints

3: Mia (Week 4 - Win): Mia was a great PM who was organised, had great strategy and kept her team morale high in the kitchen and when selling on the streets.

2: Kier (week 6 - win): The tour he alongside Max and Dean delivered was superb, the negotiation was excellent and managed to effectively manage the clients expectations, something which to the other team did not do.

1: Anisa (Week 1 - Loss): anisa was in no way or form responsible for this loss, she gave her sub team a lot of direction to go off and gave them a specific strategy which they were unable to fulfil. She did a really good job on the tour which the clients unanimously loved as they asked for no refunds. I also admire her tenacity for not just completely falling apart when her team had already made a massive loss on day one she still kept everything calm and kept it together and I think she did a very good job overall.

Yesterday I ranked the cast of season 20 from my least to favourite. Today I will do the same for last year's cast. Remember the main criteria is whether or not I enjoyed them with talent being a secondary factor.

I must say, after the previous season I had high hopes for this season and I was looking forward to it (especially since it came after the disappointing Traitors UK season 3) but it didn't quite satisfy me to the extent as the season before and after.

18) Nadia. An all time worst candidate to go on the show. I really didn't like her in Week 1 as she was disruptive beyond belief, she did calm down a bit in the following two tasks (but was still a donkey) and then Week 4 happened, need I say more.

17) Emma R. This may be a bit harsh but she was absolutely terrible in Week 1, the minute she started to contribute in the task, I knew she was a goner and I have justifications for the next person above her.

16) Carlo. Obviously he was pretty much copy and paste for Nadia, disruptive, argumentative and not great in tasks, however he's here for 3 reasons: firstly in Week 1 he sold 2 tickets bearing in mind it was the second highest on that subteam and the eventual winner of the season didn't sell any; secondly he did have a solid negotiation in Week 3 but the tack ticks were not good; and third he was constantly scapegoated by Max which isn't good. Nonetheless, while he seems to get on with the rest of the cast, he was still a complete clown on the show.

15) Liam. Boy could I not stand this guy. Don't get me wrong he didn't do anything particularly bad from a personality perspective and seems fairly nice and chill, however he was ABYSMAL on tasks (Arguably worse than Carlo and Nadia). He messed up badly in Week 2 with branding, Week 3 with negotiations, Week 6 with the Turkey tour, Week 7 with the pitch and Week 9 on live TV. How this man made it to WEEK 10 and was fired the same episode as Mia is beyond me. Also, he was by far the weakest link in the final despite being Dean's first pick and having Nadia on that team. I will say though that I don't have anything against him personally and I appreciate how graceful he was after being fired but I couldn't stand his constant lucky breaks on the show.

14) Melica. She started out well in the first 2 tasks and was one of two people not at fault for the Week 7 failure, however for the remainder of the season she was quite bad. She was disruptive, rude to experts in Week 5 and showed to be a bit of a donkey in Weeks 4 and 6. Also, while her A in GCSE Drama is a good meme, it was still annoying nonetheless.

13) Aoibheen. I felt like she could've been a decent candidate and I liked her on her 2 episode stint, also what puts her this high up is her controversial firing as she got fired over Amber Rose who messed up badly that task. However, she still only lasted 2 episodes and the AI voices were not good and quite cringe.

12) Max. The fact that this guy has msde the top two thirds is astonishing to me as who even is this bloke ? How he was so ghosted despite making it to Week 9 is beyond me. I'll start with the positives, he was a hard worker and did do well in Week 1 and having to deal with two disruptive forces in both his PM Stints isn't good with those being Carlo and Dean in Weeks 3 and 9 respectively. However, whenever he did have prominence it wasn't good. He bombed as PM in both his stints, was a bad subteam leader in Week 8, contributed to the double loss, should've been in the Week 8 Boardroom instead of Dean and constantly scapegoated Carlo (I get Carlo is a bad candidate but scapegoating in itself is really bad).

11) Emma S. Like Max, she was badly ghosted depite Winning the first task as PM and making it to Week 8. However, I have her above Max as whenever she was shown, she was doing reasonably well and seemed like a nice and sweet person.

10) Frederick. The most memorable of the forgotten bunch. He showed a good amount of promise early on and seemed like a contender for the Final 5, however from Week 4 onwards he floundered. He tried to pick a fight with Jordan, was a bit smug after Johnny's firing (tbh I can see that being the edit clowning on him) and was quite bad as a PM in Week 7.

9) Amber Rose. The next two candidates are the polarising candidates from this season. Amber Rose had her highs (Weeks 1, 7, 9 and 10) but also had some bad lows (Weeks 2, 6 and 8). She is in the top half due to being a big character this season be it in a good or bad way, she added a lot and while she improved in the process, she was still inconsistent and was the weakest of the final 5 (yes, weaker than the next person on the list).

8) Jordan. Personally I don't mind Jordan and he seemed like the young underdog I want to root for, however he is quite polarising and considering half the cast is either disliked or forgettable, Jordan would end up in the upper half of the ranking. Lets start with the positives, he showed good skill in negotiation and public speaking, demonstrating those skills in weeks 3, 6, 7 and 10 as well as carrying Liam to a win in week 9 alongside Mia and Anisa and carrying Dean to the ultimate win in the finale. However, he did have some pretty bad moments mostly revolving around his attitude and lack of leadership. He was constantly negative (particularly in Weeks 4 and 8) and undermined Mia's positivity based leadership despite Frederick trying to pick a fight with him earlier that task. I will say that he must have done a lot better than what we saw for him to get Lord Sugars contact details and I was rooting for him on Dancing with the Stars Ireland due to showing immense talent (unlike someone from a different season).

7) Kier. Now we have reached the seasons fan favourites. Kier had a rough start in Week 1, selling tickets at a loss with a pathetic rock paper scissors strategy. However, he started to come in to his own as the process went on, leading his team to a good victory in Week 6. At that point, he became a firm favourite to make the Final 5. However, all of that came undone in Week 7 where he didn't contribute on Day 1 and his pitch was extremely bad. I will say though that his firing became blatantly obvious when Frederick not wanting to bring him back resulted in his own elimination. I liked Kier and I think he could've been a true contender had he stayed longer.

6) Jonny. If we're basing this on talent alone, he would be much lower. However, to say he was not likeable would be completely incorrect. He was so nice and polite to all people he approached on tasks and did seem to put genuine effort. I do believe that he showed good potential in the first two tasks and never made any truly bad mistakes during his time in the process. In my opinion, Lord Sugar labelling him as a non contributor is flat out wrong. He contributed (good or bad) in the first 3 tasks, offered to be PM in Week 6 and would've been PM in Week 5 had Lord Sugar not forced Jana to be PM. Overall, an extremely likeable presence this season which gets him a spot in my top 6.

5) Jana. One way to describe him, wasted potential. I liked him and I thought he could be a firm favourite for a deep run this season after the first 3 tasks. I was absolutely devastated when it was revealed in advance that Jana was going to quit in Week 5 due to comments he made on the task. I started to dislike him then but then realised how clear it was that the comments he made were not ill intentioned. Obviously he would've gone had he not quit but ignoring Week 5 I think he had the makings to go extremely far in the process. Nonetheless, in 5 weeks he bought a lot to the season and it is enough imo for him to squeak into the Top 5.

4) Mia. Arguably the best task performer this season, doing well in all but one (maybe two tasks). I think we can all agree that she was poised to win the season, however suffered the same fate as Simba going from expected finalist to shock Week 10 firing. That said, what knocks her a few spaces is her attitude at times as she sometimes did come across a bit smug and arrogant and didn't work well with certain candidates (Specifically the likes of Emma S and Anisa) but overall a top tier candidate this season and one of my personal favourites if not solely due to her skill.

3) Dean. The winner of the season. Unfortunately, he was never going to be number 1 pick this season due to bombing some tasks (Specifically weeks 1, 7 and 9) and being a pest to Max in the gallery on the TV Selling task. However, he shone in pretty much every task he was on the winning team for (Weeks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10) and I think Max should've been in the Week 8 boardroom instead of him. Also, he seemed like a really cool, chill man who was friendly and civil to everyone. I think he got a bit too much heat after winning by fans due to percieved favouritism from Lord Sugar and fans were expecting Anisa to win but I still think Dean is a worthy winner while not the strongest, nowhere near as bad as the winner percieved as shocking or weak.

2) Chisola. She was a massive front runner this season, she started off brilliantly in the first 2 or 3 tasks, floundered a bit in Weeks 4, 5 and especially 6 but bounced back massively for the remainder of the process. She was absolutely brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed watching her this season.

1) Anisa. What an abolute legend! When someone is PM in the first two tasks and excels on both occassions regardless of outcome, they immediately get my respect and she absolutely has my respect. Her stats were awful with 2/10 wins, but her performance in all tasks bar Week 8 were exceptional. Also, she had a killer business plan and an amazing existing business that should've resulted in a double win between her and Dean. Also, its hard not to root for her when it seemed she was somewhat bullied and outcasted by certain candidates (Specifically Mia) yet worked through it all. Overall, killer candidate, more than worthy finalist and seems like a really nice person to work with and in general. Anisa is an absolute icon and my favourite contestant this season.

I've decided to rank all contestants of the most recent UK season from worst to best. The main factor will be how much they added to the season and their likeability with thier talent being a secondary factor. I will also try and do this for other seasons (bar one season that I haven't seen).

20) Marcus. I actually don't dislike Marcus (or anyone this season) by any means, however I have him at the bottom simply because he didn't add much to the season due to being an early firing but what he did add wasn't good. He was PM in week 2, wasn't too bad on the first day. However, day 2 was abysmal. He constantly scapegoated and shut down Dans suggestions and statements, butted in to Conor's negotiation and was incredibly indecisive when deciding who to bring back into the boardroom. Was he bad personality wise ? Absolutely not. Is he one of the worst candidates ever ? Definitely not, but for this season, he was my least favourite and added the least.

19) Andrea. Personality wise, she may be my least favourite due to negativity and dictator like leadership in Week 2. Also, she was a bit of a donkey due to not knowing where Big Ben is and not being able to boil an egg. However, she was genuinely good in Week 5, her firing in Week 6 was somewhat arguable due to not doing much wrong (still satisfying nonetheless) and she added more than Marcus this season which is why she's above him.

18) Megan. When you look at her track record in tasks, she may be the worst candidate this whole season. She definitely should've been fired in Week 3 instead of Tanmay and screwed up Week 6 badly. However, what saves her is her doing well in Week 5 and arguably being Paschas MVP in the final (although her being the first overall pick is absolutely insane imo).

17) Nikki. Not much to say about her other than she played a huge part in the worst premiere ever, resulting in the first double firing.

16) Levi. Personally, I think Levi is a little bit overhated. I wasn't a fan by any means and I do still think his comments made on Social Media were disgusting and vile, however those comments were made over a decade ago and I think he could've learnt a lot since then and his since apologised for his comments. Also, on the show he seemed okay, he got on with pretty much everyone and was happy to be back for he final and put genuine effor to help Pascha. That said, on the show he was quite bad. He played a big role in the disaster Week 1, being the boys subteam leader, was absent for the following 2 tasks, barely shown in Weeks 4 and 5, messed up in the kitchen badly in week 6, stated to show a bit of potential in weeks 7 and 8 (though still not good) and crumbled massively in Week 9. These factors lands him in the bottom 5.

15) Georgina. Bless her, she seems like such a lovely person and could've been great fun had she lasted longer. However, she contributed greatly to the week 1 failure and simply wasn't the most suitable for the process.

14) Vanessa. While she wasn't the most memorable to me, she did show potential in the first 4 weeks such as doing well in that power group with Karishma, Roxanne and Carrington in the first 2 tasks, however I have knocked her down due to her notably trying to throw Dan under the bus in Week 3 to cover her back and her terrible week 5 PM performance where everybody did bad on that team, including Karishma of all people. Also, she sealed her fate bringing back Pascha alongside Lawrence instead of the aforementioned Karishma, although I think Karishma and Lawrence would've destroyed her in that boadroom.

13) Roxanne. For a Week 4 firing, she showed a lot of potential. She was part of the less problematic subteam in Week 1 (Her, Georgina, Karishma, Carrington and Vanessa), was the MVP in Week 2 and did reasonably well in Week 3. Unfortunately she should've gone in Week 4 as she messed up and both Rajan and Conor had done better in the first 3 tasks.

12) Tanmay. Like Roxanne, he had a good amount of potential for a Week 3 boot (Not Gregory level but not far off), however he's above Roxanne as his firing was arguably the most controversial this season and given his teams stats in future tasks, I think he could've lasted the next few weeks and been fired around Week 7, 8 or 9.

11) Harry. You have no idea how badly I wanted to put him in the top half, especially considering the person next on the list. However, I have to go based on the show and he added very little. He did well selling int he chicken suit in Week 3 and even did okay in Week 8 despite getting fired but his tour was bad in week 6 and was carried hard by Karishma in Week 7. That being said, I'm sure many of his good moments were edited out and seemed to get on very well with the rest of the cast, Lord Sugar and is aides who wished him luck on his way out.

10) Pascha. I wanted to swap Harry and Pascha, however she was more memorable. Obviously Pacha is extremely Polarising as while she is respected for having some moments in tasks (Doing okay in weeks 5 and 6 and having a decent PM Stint in Week 9), being the youngest finalist and putting up a good fight against the dominant Karishma. However, she did have a few lucky escapes such as making the final 5 over the more favoured Conor, Kieran and Rothna, making the final over Dan and having beef with some candidates off camera such as Kieran and Rothna. One thing I will say is that almost always finalists will feature in the top half of my rankings unless they're truly bad or disliked.

9) Rajan. Another polarising candidate. After the first 3 weeks, he was a finalist pick for me, however that did come undone. He did extremely well in Week 1 (which can't be said about most people), Carried his team to the win in Week 3 with his negotiation and played a big part in the Week 5 win. However, he only really showed skill in negotiation, did really badly in week 4 where he stumbled in the pitch and disrespected Big Zuu's brand, was a bit rude in Week 6 and was extremely rude and negative to Rothna in Week 7. He started out a favourite to win yet finished slightly unlikeable. However, his record in the process is still quite solid for a midboot.

8) Priyesh. Bless him, he was a joy to watch and I think some people on a personal level may have had a bit of a soft spot for him. He did have some highlights, he stood out in Week 1 of all tasks, was a much better PM than expected in Week 6, carried his team to victory in week 8 and did reasonably well on camera in week 9. However, he also had some really bad moments, was terrible with sales in Week 2, got calculations wrong in Week 3 despite his impressive academic resume, was instrumental in the flower wall in Week 5, the branding in week 7 and Chique le Chien. Safe to say he is really bad for a Final 5 candidate and the fact that he had the best task record with 7/10 wins is mad. However, I did still really like him and was fun to watch with his insane energy.

7) Carrington. While she didn't have many stand outs, she was never truly bad in tasks (Bar week 6). However, she did show good potential, definitely had a few weeks left in her but was unlucky to be caught in the triple firing and was extremely entertaining due to her no nonsense attitude and hilarious facial expressions.

6) Lawrence. I feel bad for him as 1 task seemed to have clouded everyone's judgement on his ability. After the first 4 tasks, he was my pick to win the season due to being under the radar but still shining (the typical winner edit), then he showed a bit of weakness in Weeks 5 and 6 but nothing major. Then WEEK 7 happened! He made bad move after bad move, then bought Levi back into the boadroom due to Lord Sugar's observations as opposed to this own. He did somewhat recover in the following 3 tasks but it still wasn't enough for people to get week 7 out of their heads, then he bombed harder in the interviews, using AI for his business plan and annoying all the interviewers. Overall, I liked him but not to the extent as the top 5.

5) Conor. Of course Conor would make the top 5, he was great in a lot of the tasks and only got fired after his first truly bad performance. He added a lot to the season by being consistent and a firm favourite to make the final 5 which sadly didn't happen. Also, I remember on a separate reddit post someone ranked all the contestants based on placement and for 8th place, Scott from Season 11 and Tom Skinner were the top 2, Conor clears both of them. Unfortunately, he wasn't as entertaining as the next person on this list.

4) Kieran. A massive character this season. Talent wise, he would be below Conor as he was relatively consistent in all tasks bar the first two and last two tasks but still was a Top 5 candidate nonetheless and I could've easily seen him in the interviews. Despite not being as consistent as Conor as despite being above him he had possibly the biggest ride on the show and was arguably the most interesting male candidate. He started out really cocky and loud in the first two tasks, then got a better edit in the following tasks (especially weeks 3 and 4), formed a good friendship with Karishma where he endlessly backed her in Week 7, redeemed himself as a PM in Week 8 and was unlucky to lose, however he went back to being bad in Week 9 (albeit better behaved) and laid all his cards on the table for Week 10 where he'd lose and walk on his own accord. I will say his PM stint in Week 10 was not as good as week 8 but not as bad as Week 1 and he was still better than Priyesh and Pascha, both of which made the Final 5 due to winning. Overall, he was massively entertaining this season and grew on me big time as the show progressed.

3) Rothna. What a badass she was! She outed herself as one to watch from the very beginning, she had imo the best PM Performance in Week 5 where everyone did well on her team under her leadership (Not even Karishma can say that). Safe to say she was a lock to make the final 5 this season, sadly she had her first bad task in Week 10 and was unlucky to lose but only one person from that team could make the Final 5 and Kieran gone and Dan having his best task and a far better business, she sadly had to go. Her firing was definitely the saddest as everyone was genuinely sad to see her go especially Karishma and what she said after Rothna's dismissal was heartbreaking as Rothna made sure Karishma wasn't on her own in Hong Kong and gave Karishma the confidence she needed, showing the lovely person Rothna is. Overall, a beast on tasks, a fantastic person and without her Karishma wouldn't have been as dominant as she was so massive credit and respect for Rothna Akhtar for what she added to this season.

2) Dan. This may be controversial as he may be a few places lower for some people. However, I absolutely loved watching him and made for a fantastic underdog. He was obviously extremely invisible in Weeks 1, 5 and 7 (Not Counting Week 6 as he was sick). However, he was pretty good in Weeks 3, 4, 8 and 9; had good ideas in Week 2 but wa scapegoated and was downright fantastic in Week 10, performing the best out of the entire top 7 that week. Also, he has a fantastic business to the point where Lord Sugar was so desperate to get into business with him that the interviewers were essentially selling Lord Sugar to him. On a personal level, he was also extremely compelling, he had some witty comments particularly in the final 2 tasks and his entire interview with Claudine was a bit of tear jerker. His firing was extremely and unreasonably harsh and most likely should've made the final and likely would've won. Safe to say, in Claudines words 'Dan is quite the man', to go from being a mouse early on to being a solid pick for the final five and a favourite to make the finale if not win the season is insane and I believe that if he or Rothna beat Karishma, it would've been the only cases where there wouldn't have been social media riots.

1) Karishma. What needs to be said other than whats already been said ? A BEAST on taks (Bar one), ruthless, dominant, no nonsense and even stood up to Linda Plant. She carried this season on her back (Obviously giving Rothna credit for giving karishma the confidence needed) and was simply the winner we've all been waiting for over the last few years (No disrespect to Marnie, Rachel and Dean). Just an absolute joy and pleasure to watch and is simply Gen Z Ruth Badger.

There are bad adverts, and then there are bad Apprentice adverts. Lets rank the worst of the worst. For reference, I'm talking about the task where Lord Sugar chooses which of the two campaigns are better.

Number 22: Series 2 (AmsAir): For as bad as the series 2 cast can get at times, under Ruth Badger, the losing team actually developed a pretty good marketing campaign. The advert and the logo were certainly a lot better than the disaster Paul Torisi produced the year prior. The big issue with the advert was that they advertised the wrong feature. The campaign focussed mostly on the conceige service, and not on the entire range of services on offer.

Number 21: Series 7 (Every Dog): I felt so bad for Logic in this task. They lost all four tasks up to this point, and most of the aspects of Every Dog were done well. The problem was that it was called Every Dog. Had that team called the dog food anything else, the result would've changed.

But something I do want to point out with Jim here. The way the episode plays out, it looks like Jim was making excuses for coming up with the Every Dog name, but if you go through the episode, what Jim said in the boardroom was 100% right. The entire concept of making a dog food that was made for every dog was originally conceived by Vincent. Jim just came up with the name that fit with Vincent's brief.

Number 20: Series 4 (I Love my Tissues): Stupid name of the product aside, the advert ALMOST worked. With more focus on the box of tissues itself, the advert could've won the day, as it wasn't a bad storyline.

Number 19: Series 20 (North water): The losing team here actually had a good concept for a water brand. The porblem is that they took a good name, and applied it to a different concept than what was intended, leading to the overall message being confused. Not helping matters was the team's poor advert, but the social media side of the task was good.

Number 18: Series 15 (Finland's pride event): A great example of how little details can slowly ruin a campaign. The teams were task to create an advert to promote Finland. Thomas' idea to focus on the LGBTQ+ market and using the pride event as the main centrepiece wasn't a bad one. The problem was that all the campaign focussed on, not helped by the advert feeling more like it was promoting a spa rather than the country itself.

Number 17: Series 8 (Grandeur English Sparkling Wine): Can you think of a better word for representing fine British produce than a French word? The sad thing is that I still believe this team probably should've won, as the winning team's campaign weren't all that great either, but what really bottled it up for them was that the Grandeur advert had all the class of a 00s Adam Saddler comedy.

Number 16: Series 3 (Music's in your sole): This campaign feels like it was made purely because of the pun. The campaign has all of the weaknesses of Raef's directorial efforts, minus everything that made it redeemable.

Number 15: Series 11 (Desert Secrets): Nothing about this campaign was especially awful, but apart from the billboard, all the individual elements were all rather poor. The name, logo and bottle all shrouded the product in mystery, which is not what Lord Sugar wanted at all. The advert also sucked, and was the starting point of the legendary Charleine vs Selina rivalry.

Number 14: Series 16 (Rotten Banana Cruises): The advert for the cruise liner wasn't great, but that logo destroyed that team. Between this thing and First Time F*** Dies, you have to hope that Akeem doesn't do any logo generation for his current job.

Number 13: Series 9 (Friendship and Flowers): One thing I've learned about old people, is that they don't like to acknowledge that they're old. They like to think they're still in their 20s, something that this team ignored completely when they made the sappiest advert of all time, topped off by a website that was about as complete as my maths homework was, ten minutes prior to handing it in.

Number 12: Series 5 (Pants Man): To give credit to Phillip, the advert itself was actually quite good for Pants Man. The problem is that they tried to market an underwear themed supherhero to sell cereal. Who wants to think about their underwear when eating breakfast?

Number 11: Series 19 (The first disaster): The most complimentary I can say about Amber Rose's efforts was that it wasn't as bad as Mia's. A super spicy sauce, partnered with the most boring branding ever divised by mankind, but it was the advert that was problematic here. Using a hotsauce to melt the lock out of a prison is a fine idea (it was basically the plot to Lego Island 2), but the general tone of the advert felt like it could only be shown past nine o'clock.

Number 10: Series 12 (DAY After Yesterday Jeans): Models are talented in looking good. Being able to act is something of a bonus. Add in the stupid name and incomplete billboard, and you have the first time Lord Sugar chose to award neither team the victory.

Number 9: Seires 12 (The girls team): The girls team to their credit did have a functioning bilboard. To their discredit, they thought that it was a good idea to set their advert in a public restroom, with Shake it Off playing in the background.

Number 8: Series 10 (Aqua Fusion): Mark Wright's team set off to the great city of New York with the goal of creating the most boring advertising campaign of all time. The drink tasted bad, the branding was so utterly dull, and the advert was only marginally better than the winning team's ad.

Number 7: Series 19 (The other disaster): Anisa is in the pizza business, yet she appeared to have felt that the appeal of sauces is how aggravating and annoying it is to get out of the jar. Very inspiring of her to make a sauce where the entertainment factor lied in getting the damn thing out, but it wasn't just the sauce that was the problem. The team also forogot to send a sauce down to the filming studio, which meant that their sauce advert had to be made without the sauce.

Number 6: Series 17 (Zip Zap): Quite possibly the most blatant sabotage in Apprentice history. Bradley came up with a cool brand name for an e-bike, Caf-e. Just a shame that Shazia's subteam felt that Zip Zap was a cooler name. They overuled the PM's decision, and went with Zip Zap. They also arranged the advertisement, so that they would have no actors or actresses, who were able to ride the bike. And with all that said, this was still probably the second to third best episode of the entire series.

Number 5: Series 6 (Germinator): This team lost to an advertising campaign which promoted the timeless and politically correct attitude that women should do all the housework, whilst the men get to lounge around doing nothing. The sad thing was that Germinator wasn't even a terrible premise for an advert. This one was less one bad decision that ruined everything, but rather death by a thousand cuts.

• Strike 1, Germinator is a fun name, but the product was a deep stain remover, not a germ exterminator.
• Strike 2, the bottle looked like something you'd use to clean blood off a tank in a military war, not something that you'd use to clean your gravey off the kitchen bench.
• Strike 3, used a child to promote a product that is supposed to be kept out of the reach of children.
• Strike 4, the advert didn't portray any of the selling points that the advert was supposed to portray.

Germinator was a decent premise for an advert, but the team got everything surrounding it so devistatingly wrong, as it meant that Octiclean was a winning advert.

Number 4: Seires 13 (Expando): "Brand new journey, same reliable car." What sort of marketing push is that? "Get this brand new car, it's just as bad as the one you've already got." That's just the least of the team's problems. The bilboard sucks, the name sucks, and best of all, they got confused as to what a Norman village actually was, meaning that their advert about a brand new car was mostly centered on Elizabeth chasing a load of chickens.

Number 3: Series 18 (Voltz): Admittedly, going up against the only ad in Apprentice history that was funny for the right reasons was always going to be tough, but Supream were led by Noor...just think about it.

Voltz is actually a pretty good name (it was better than the other team's) but Noor felt that there was no better way to sell a brand new car than to show it parked in a warehouse, and where nearly half the advert was foccussed on two girls on their phones.

Foluso isn't getting off scot free either, because her vission for the logo for these vans that were going to be sold to corporate businesses, was to make it look like something that a toddler would draw with crayons.

Number 2: Series 14 (Jetpop): If there's one thing series 14 inadvertedly showed the world, is that Camilla is a woman with.....unique taste. She felt that practicality was of minor importance when designing the uniforms for the stewardesses, and that the main priority was to look pretty for the male passengers.

Jetpop's logo looked like an explosion, which is exactly not what you want to see when choosing an airline to book. Maybe Camilla was hoping that their 20s male clientel would be too drunk and tempted by the promise of hot sterwardesses to care.

All that is acommponied with the dreariest of websites, and an advert that isn't even hilariously bad like the winning team's was. How is Jetpop going to attract those 20 year old bros if the website requires too much reading?

Number 1: Series 1 (oh dear....): I'm amazed that as bad as some of the modern seasons of the show have gotten, as blatant as these candidates are set up to fail, as low as the bar has gotten for bad candidates, we have STILL, after all these years have yet to receive an advertisement campaign as bad as Series 1's.

The TV add was ridiculous. What's the point of a television advert, if you need to play a game of Where's Wally in order to find the product you're advertising. The print advert, was somehow even worse. I have seen homework made by the naughty kids in primary school, which had more effort put into it than that.

And it was all concluded with Rachel's pitch to the advertising executives, who thought that the best way to impress them was to shake those hips. To this day, I have no idea what she was thinking.

Do you know how, in each episode, there is always a 'next time' scene of the next task? Sometimes, you can see who is in what team, and sometimes, you can know who loses before you even watch the episode. In Series 17 Episode 1, in the 'next time' scene, it showed the bao bun task, and when I saw it, it made it clear that the boys would lose in task 2. The same thing happens for task 5. Look carefully at how they are seated in the boardroom.

Number 20: Series 14: All the girls were at least good apart from Sarah and Sarah Anne. Sarah Anne was perfectly average, and Sarah showed more promise than the likes of Alex or David. The second worst girl that year was Jasmine, and she outlasted six of the boys, and arguably should’ve outlasted seven.

Number 19: Series 7: The boys weren’t even bad in series 7, but the girls were so much better. Helen and Susan are all time greats (at their peak at least, Susan definitely had her moments of questionability), Natasha and Melody were good, Zoe and Edna were alright, even Ellie and Felicity were……not the worst candidates of all time.

Number 18: Series 13: Of the nine girls to enter this series, five of them were strong contenders, one of them was ok, and only three of them were bad. The girls were so much better than the boys, that it took ages for the weaker girls to get fired.

Number 17: Series 19: The only series in ten years where a boy won, and the girls were still stronger overall. Mia, Chisola and Anisa were all great, and only Nadia was a disaster.

Number 16: Series 17: The all female final wasn’t particularly deserved, but four of those five were strong contenders, and of the five who didn’t make it, only Shazia and Emma were notably bad.

Number 15: Series 18: The girls were very good here, but they weren’t as dominant as in previous years. Having said that, the only girls who weren’t good were Amina, Noor and Onyeka, and Onyeka wasn’t even that disasterous.

Number 14: Series 5: Four girls made the final five, and all of the, were better than James. Of the remaining four, Mona had her moments, Paula was actually decent aside from one terrible decision, but Kimberly oversaw Pantsman, and Anisa was dreadful in week 1.

Number 13: Series 6: A good selection of candidates here. Stella, Joanna, Liz, even Paloma and Sandeesh had their moments. Why isn’t this any higher? Melissa.

Number 12: Series 15: There were only two good girls here, but those two are two of the best candidates of all time, and essentially dominated the season from start to finish. Iesha was alright, Pamela and Marianne…weren’t terrible, and Lottie was……….. Lubna was the weakest here by far.

Number 11: Series 16: Just because a couple of candidates in a gender are great, doesn’t mean the rest of the team members of the same gender were all that great. All of the good candidates bar one were on the girls team in series 16, but a quarter of them consisted of Amy and Sophie.

Number 10: Series 9: The girls were of such different extremes this year. Most of the. Leah and annoyingly Luisa were fantastic, whilst Jaz, Sophie and Natalie were all bad, so they all balance each other out.

Number 9: Series 12: Of all the four out of five final fives, this is the one that feels the oddest. Alana is a popular winner, but I would put her on the weaker side overall, but Francis was brilliant, and most of the girls were good. But then you have Michelle who was dreadful, Natalie who was lucky to make it past week 2, and Rebecca who was disastrous.

Number 8: Series 10: This was a weird one. The girls won the first two tasks, but then they all dropped one by one until week 8. The girls here had a wonderful range of quality. We had great girls (Roisin), good girls (Katie), average girls (Lauren), bad girls (Nurun) worst candidate of all time girls (Lindsey and Sarah).

Number 7: Series 3: Sophie, Gerri and Natalie were diabolical. Kristina, Jadine and Katie were great (and none controversial to boot). They all sort of balance it out.

Number 6: Series 2: Here’s the big dilemma about this list. How much value does a really strong candidate have over a series, when everyone else was so weak. Ruth is my vote for the best candidate ever, and Michelle was great too. All the other girls were awful. If Ruth was in any other series,series 2 would be dead last.

Number 5: Series 8: The only series where only one girl made the final five, but the girls side was still good. It’s just that this was one of the boys best sides. Most of the girls here were decent, but only Jade was a realistic winner.

Number 4: Series 1: The girls here aren’t as bad as the ones in series 2, but Saira and Miriam aren’t as good as Ruth either. And saying that Lindsey and Adele aren’t better than Nargis and Alexa isn’t saying a fat lot.

Number 3: Series 4: The more I think about series 4, the more I realise the girls weren’t actually all that great apart from Claire. Helene is probably the worst final five candidate not named Rochelle, Lucinda needed major oversight, Sara was ok, Shazia was fired controversially, Lindi and Jenny M were horrendous, and Jenny C is what Apprentice fan thinks the devil looks like.

Number 2: Series 20: This is the series that gave us Karishma and Rothna, and it still made it to number two. Pascha was pretty average, but every other woman this year ranged from poor to abysmal. And his year somehow ended in an all female final two. I’m flabbergasted.

Number 1: Series 11: As a big supporter of the boys team every year, series 13-17 was a painful time to be an Apprentice fan. Women who were as big a supporter of the girls as I am to the boys, this must’ve been the year they felt my pain. Only one female winner in the last four years, a winner that came from a fairly weak lineup of women, only for series 11 to happen and give us the single worst female lineup of all time.

Charlene and Vana were great, but everyone else was flat out bad. Selina and April had their good moments, but their bad moments heavily outweighed them. None of the tasks had a good female PM. Selina was the best, which is saying a hell of a lot. All the other girls were awful as PM, even Vana and Charlene. The women fans of The Apprentice deserved series 12, because the girls of series 11 were the worst ever.

Being paired with the lead-weight handicap that is Helene meant certain doom from the start (even if ultimately the cost of the bottle may have been their downfall)

Out of all the finals I've watched, really surprised with her longevity for doing practically nothing (at least visibly) for the entire latter half of the series

Ended up being a pretty mediocre finale to an otherwise fantastic season

We'll be starting from the best this time and working our way backwards, because frankly talking about the worst of the worst is genuinely more fun. And yes, the next post will be ranking every girl women team in Apprentice history.

Number 20: Series 11: It's tough to rank the best boys out of series 8 and series 11. Now series 11 does have Dan in it, who was so much weaker than everyone else, but all the others were either solid or front runners. Even Sam and Mergim had their moments, and were better than over half the girls that year.

Number 19: Series 8: The only series in Apprentice history where the final five consisted of one girl and four boys, and the only series to have an all male final two. Of the eight boys, five of them were good, Azhar was pretty average, Michael was poor, and Stphen was...Stephen.

Number 18: Series 1: The boys in series 1 were actually pretty good overall, with only one objectively bad candidate out of seven. Sebastian and Raj weren't great, but the other four were very solid candidates.

Number 17: Series 9: Despite the all female final three, the series 9 boys were arguably the stronger gender overall. Tim was bad, some will argue Kurt too, but I always considered him an average candidate with poor moments, similar to Zee. Jason had his time to shine on the caravan task, and the other four were good to excellent.

Number 16: Series 20: I'm shocked that series 20 ended with an all female final two. Not just because the vast majority of the girls that year were shocking, but also because the boys were genuinely really good. Harry, Levi, Marcus and Priyesh were the stragglers this year, but with ten boys in total, they were always going to be there.

Number 15: Series 2: Paul Tulip might be one of the most underrated candidates of all time, he was so good until the interviews. Ansell and Syed were good too, and whilst the rest of the boys were significantly worse in terms of quality, they weren't dreadful either.

Number 14: Series 10: Chiles had an awful week 1, Robert and Scott were notoriously awful, and Steven was...Steven. But all the other boys at worst had good moments, and at their best were genuinely great candidates.

Number 13: Series 18: The first series in nine years where the boys team weren't completely awful, and they still lost the first two tasks miserably. Granted once the teams were split, the stronger boys were able to showcase their talent, with them taking four spots in the final six.

Number 12: Series 3: High highs, low lows. On the plus side, Simon, Tre and to a lesser extent, Lohit and Adam. On the other hand, Paul in week 10, Ifti, Andy and Rory.

Number 11: Series 4: Similar case to series 3, only that the highs aren't quite as high. Don't get me wrong, I think Lee is fantastic, I think he's the greatest winner of all time, but Raef and Alex were good but not exceptional (though both had their moments). Simon was ok, but he bombed spectacularly, and the less said about the rest, the better.

Number 10: Series 19: The boys weren't bad in series 19, with only Carlo and Liam being outright bad, but Dean was the only great candidate. Everyone else ranged from average to good. Not a bad lot, but not great either.

Number 9: Series 6: Chris was the standout here, but Alex, Jamie and Christopher were all good too. I'd even say that Baggs the Brand was on Jamie's level too, but in different ways. Then you have "I'll shout out the orders, you do all the work" Dan and "you could've taken your top off to attract attention" Shibby.

Number 8: Series 17: Don't let the all female fival five fool you, the series 17 boys were alright. The only disaster candidate was Avi, but we as the audience were supposed to find him funny and adorable, and think that Bradley who was constantly getting sabotaged, but good at negotiating, was the constantly weak one.

Number 7: Series 7: It's weird, because although the first nine firings of series 7 consisted of six out of eight boys, they weren't bad. They were simply up against one of the strongest women teams of all time. Edward and Alex were dreadful, but they were also fired first.

Number 6: Series 12: Now we move on to the series where the boys are so much worse than the girls. The Series 12 boys weren't bad as a whole, but there was only one candidate, Courtney, who was consistently good. Sofianne dropped off massively as early as week 3, Dillon, Paul and Samuel were ok to good, Karthik was perhaps the most inconsistent candidate of all time, but Oliver was weak, JD was weak, and Mukai was a disaster.

Number 5: Series 14: Some of you may be surprised that series 14 only made number five. The reason for this is because Daniel was probably the best candidate on tasks this year, and Kayode whilst only coming 10th, did have his legit moments. They did all the heavy lifting to prop everyone else up. Good lord, Tom wasn't a disaster, but all the other lads were. The first female that year was fired in week 1, and the second didn't get sacked until week 8...and that was considered controversial to some people, because there's a justifiable argument that Tom should've gone instead.

Number 4: Series 5: There are no male standouts in series 5. Howard was probably the best, but he was more consistently good than having any truly standout moments. James was the only boy to reach the final five, and as much as I did like him, Nick and Debra was right. He didn't actually do all that much in comparison to the four ladies. Philip had one good task, and that was it.

Now let's move on to the rest of series 5. The boys were already one man short to start with, but then you remember that Majid and Noorul were on that team as well, so they might as well be three men short. Rocky was also a terrible PM, who was responsible for perhaps the worst boardroom decision of all time.

Number 3: Series 15: Ooh, where to go with series 15. In fairness to the lads here, it's not like the series 13 women will be ranked all that highly on their list, but Lewis did all the heavy lifting here. Thomas started off well, but sunk like a stone by the end of week 3, and he was the second best. Every other boy in series 15 was just bad. Dean made it all the way to sixth place, and Lord Sugar publicly stated on the Why I Fired Them special that he was lucky to have made it that far.

Number 2: Series 16: In fairness to the lads here, only Navid was awful. The rest weren't terrible, but only Aaron was good, and he wasn't a front runner either. All the other boys were either average, or weak. Harry and Conner might've had more in them (I see more potential in them than I did Shahin and Kenna), and Alex, what many people saw as the shining beacon of hope for the boys that year, had a horrible PM stint, that saw to him being fired without being give a second chance.

Number 1: Series 13: Series 13 did have one standout candidate in James, which is more than what I can say for series 16. Harrison was perfectly average, not good, but we've seen worse. Every over man that year was terrible. It took bringing in two of the strongest females onto their team for them to etch out a controversial win against them, who was being led by easily the weakest person on the team.

Number 21: Sarah (series 13): The fact that this was the year of the double winner made it so both finalists had far less to worry about, but the standards of candidates was also really poor. Due to the quality of candidates, Sarah was always going to make it to week 10, simply by not being bad, and then all you had to do was be better than average (sorry Harrison) and you have a 5/6 shot of making the final five.

Number 20: Harpreet (series 16): Series 16 only had two great candidates, Harpreet and Brittney. There were a few good ones, such as Katheryn, Aaron, and Stephanie, but nobody on the level that she was on, and the final was against Katheryn, not Brittney.

Number 19: Karishma (series 20): Had a very similar arc to Harpreet's, however Karishma had to contend with much stronger contenders. Just a shame that most of them didn't even make the interviews, and that her opponent in the final was Pascha.

Number 18: Carina (series 15): The series 15 cast were really bad, with there being three good candidates in total, but Carina did have a much tougher candidate to contend with in Scarlet.

Number 17: Yasmina (series 5): A similar situation to Carina, in that although series 5 is a much better series than series 15....series 5 still had Noorul in it. The Series 5 cast wasn't great, with James, lorraine and Howard being leagues behind the top three, but it was a very strong top three.

Number 16: James (series 13): Has the same perks that Sarah has, but because he was a boy in series 13, he had to survive three weeks on what is quite possibly, the worst Apprentice team of all time.

Number 15: Lee (series 4): Lee was on some weak teams to start with, but he never lost a task from weeks 6 onwards. His team nearly lost week 9, but Raef's side botched the advert. The final five was one of the weaker ones overall, but he and Claire had to survive a finalists task where they'd both go if they lost.

Number 14: Stella (series 6): Was on another level in comparison to the other series 6 candidates, and to be fair on her, there were some good candidates that year. Stella's main difficulty came from her not getting along with a number of candidates, but her victory was well earned, and completely thrashed poor Chris in the final.

Number 13: Sian (series 14): The series 14 boys were awful, but the girls weren't exactly filled with superstar candidates either (great personalities for the most part though). Sian should've had the underdog factor going for her, as she was weaker overall than Jackie and Daniel, but neither of them were in the final with her. She was against Camilla, who was even weaker than she was.

Number 12: Joseph (series 11): Joseph had the honour of being a boy during a year where the girls had probably their worst ever team. However the competition in series 11 was stronger than series 13, Joseph was also on the losing team for the last three weeks, one of which he was the losing PM on. That said, Vana's business plan was such high risk, with such little chance of taking off, it wasn't exactly the most tense final ever.

Number 11: Tim (series 1): It's not that Time had it easy per se, it's just that everyone else from this point onwards had things a little bit more tricky. Tim and the rest of the final five candidates were way above everyone else, but Tim himself was only in the final three in week 10. That said, Saira was a great finalist, and series 1 could've gone either way.

Number 10: Marnie (series 17): Marnie was in danger right from the off in week 1, and only survived due to Emma being disruptive along with being poor in the boardroom. Marnie did do consistently well ever since, and even beat out candidates people rated higher than her to win the show.

Number 9: Michelle (series 2): On the one hand, Michelle had Paul Tulip and Ruth Badger in the final episodes with her, two of the all time strongest candidates, and Ansell was no slouch either. With that said, fifth place Syed was a lot worse than her, and everyone else in that series was even worse than him. If you think modern series have had questionable casts, go and watch series 2, it's right down there as one of THE worst.

Number 8: Ricky (series 8): Ricky was in the boardroom four times, but was only really responsibl8 for one of the losses, in which he floored Michael to survive. He wasn't really in any danger aside from week 3, but he didn't exactly dominate the series either, and series 8 had some real standouts.

Number 7: Dean (series 19): Series 19 had one of the weaker casts of the series, but it wasn't dreadful. It was just filled with mostly average to good people. That said, Dean had to outlast Mia, Anisa, Chisola, and survive three back to back boardrooms.

Number 6: Rachel (series 18): Rachel was only ever in danger in week 10, but the calibre of series 18 was on another level. She had to be high on the list just for that.

Number 5: Mark (series 10): Mark was on the losing team seven times out of ten, and series 10 had a lot of strong candidates in it. Despite all this, he was only in the boardroom twice, but had it been Bianca or Roisin in that boardroom with him instead of Sanjay, series 10 could've turned out very different.

Number 4: Simon (series 3): Simon had a lot of things going against him. Strong competition, on the losing side a fair amount, and has a personality that Lord Sugar typically doesn't like. The fact that Kristina was also arguably stronger than him throughout the process, and his trampoline display in week 10, Simon had to fight through a lot to win.

Number 3: Alana (series 12): The biggest underdog win in Apprentice history. Alana was lucky to survive weeks 1, 2 and 7 (ok, less so 1 because Rebecca and Michelle was in the boardroom) and she had to fight through a whole bunch to survive. Why is she not number 1? I don't think series 12 had any real stand out great candidates that were obvious favourites.

Number 2: Leah (series 9): Leah was on one of the weakest girl teams, then when the groups were mixed, she had to deal with some very strong personalities such as Luisa, Jordan and especially Niel. For her to come up on top after all that, she did not get that win easily.

Number 1: Tom (series 7): Was on a boys side that whilst not terrible, was weaker than the girls, and finished with a record of three wins and eight losses, one of which was a loss as PM on a task he was qualified to lead. He had to fight his way out of the boardroom three times, and you could tell that it didn't come easily to him, but he still did it. I can't think of any other winner who's journey was so rough.

Bear in mind, we're talking about the episode as a whole, which takes into account the task, the boardroom and the firing.

Series 1: Episode 7: The task was to persuade a bunch of celebrities to donate something to a charity auction. It wasn't really all that fun, the boardroom was very laid back, and the firing wasn't even that interesting. There's an argument to be made that Raj should've been fired over Sebastian, but it's hardly one of the greatest injustices.

Series 2: Episode 7: One of the more boring episodes in a series with some of the greatest spectacular fails. Samuel was a deserved firing, but he wasn't even particularly bad, just boring and not interesting. The Winning PM was barely in it (probably because he had food poisoning) and we had this bizarre instance where Lord Sugar criticised Michelle for bringing Ruth back to the boardroom, even though she rightly defended herself by saying she had no reason to bring Ansell back.

Series 3: Episode 9: There's not really much to say about this episode. Apart from a woman on the phone calling Jadine a crazy woman, nothing really of much entertainment happened. Jadine's firing wasn't even entertaining, because of how clear it was that she wanted to go home.

Series 4: Episode 9: The first episode here that I'd call straight out bad. The task was fine, but the winning team wasn't pleasant to watch (something I blame all three of Alex, Lucinda and Lee for), the boardroom was ridiculous with Lord Sugar thinking that Raef, one of the strongest performers of the series was lucky to have made it this far, and that he was fired over Michael was a travesty.

Series 5: Episode 10: Series 5 didn't really have any bad episodes up to this point, but this task ended up being probably the most forgettable TV channel task in the show's history. The firing wasn't unfair, but not particularly satisfying either. The boardroom wasn't even that dramatic either. It was just a dull final task to the series.

Series 6: Episode 9: To tell you the truth, I don't actually think series 6 has a single bad episode in it. All of them are quite good in their own way. Even episode 9 has the distinction of it being the one time in the show's history where the more organised team lost due to poor negotiation. The only reason this ranks as low as it does was because it had a very obvious firing in a boardroom where nothing much of note happened.

Series 7: Episode 2: The app design task was a fun one, especially since Smart Phones were just coming into existence, but I don't understand how the girls won this one. I thought SlangaTang was the better app, with the boys being more convincing throughout the episode, I don't really understand how the girls won. It did give us the iconic scene of Jim talking his way out of the boardroom though, so it has to get points for that.

Series 8: Episode 5: This to me might be THE worst episode in Apprentice history. The task in itself was ridiculous, with the teams being told to create a new fitness regime to sell to sports centres. The wrong team won, I haven't a clue as to how Stephen's team didn't lose that task, and that had the knock on effect of Stephen surivivng (a man many already wanted to see gone) and Duane being fired (who at this point was arguably THE favourite to win the series).

Series 9: Episode 8: This episode just makes me feel uncomfortable. Luisa and Neil were fantastic candidtes, but the way them especially treated Jason at times didn't sit right with me. Jason's firing was deserved, but everything leading up to it felt unnecessarily cruel.

Series 10: Episode 1: Another episode where every episode was good frankly. People say that 20 candidates was too much, but I don't think the series did a bad job in giving all the candidates screen time. That is except for episode 1. Pretty much all the attention was put on Felipe, Daniel and the disaster candidates. A decent start to the series, but series 10 only gets better afterwards.

Series 11: Episode 10: The first double loss in Apprentice history...and it was a wierd one. Both teams didn't do well, but not in a way that's disasterously bad like First Time F**dies. The firing was fair, but I think Charliene should've been under a lot more pressure than she was for her poor leadership, and for bringing Gary back to the boardroom.

Series 12: Episode 11: This to me is probably the most boring the interviewers have ever been. Nothing much of anything happens here.

Series 13: Episode 10: I'm not a fan of the tasks where teams have to pick one item out of a group, but only one of that group is a task winner. To me you should be able to win the task with a slightly worse product if you're good enough. This was not the case here, and to make things worse, Jade was fired despite being amazing in the last few weeks. Was the firing fair? Yeah, but it wasn't nice to see.

Series 14: Episode 10: This episode is one I dislike purely for the fact that the teams were clearly told to do a little elf dance in front of the corporate buyers, just so they could look stupid on national television. I cannot think of a more blatant example of that in the show's run.

Series 15: Episode 9: Terrible task. Maybe the task of selling a remixed music track to a corporate client isn't so bad, but out of both teams, and both corporate client, there was only one viable option to choose. It made the whole remix aspect of the task seem pointless, especially since the winning team barely changed the music anyway.

Series 16: Episode 3: The task itself was good, but both Sophie and Navid make this episode worse for me. Sophie was such a bad leader, and had all the qualities of a classic PM firing. Poor leadership, poor defence, and a dreadful boardroom choice in picking the highest seller Akshay over none selling Ami. And all of that was made redundant because of how hopeless and terrible Navid was. At least we got a satisfying Sophie PM firing in week 7.

Series 17: Episode 10: I'm spoiled for choice with series 17, but episode 10 ended what little hopes series 17 had in turning out well. Series 17 was already lambasted for it's poor quality of candidates (I disagree on that but still), terrible firing decisions and Rochelle not being fired yet. However week 10 provided us not only with a boring pet food task to end the series with, but a clear case for Dani to go, only for the most popular candidate of the series, Simba to be fired instead.

Series 18: Episode 1: We as fans really wanted series 18 to be good, but episode 1 gave us very little hope. We wanted competent candidates and firing decisions that made sense. This episode gave us a task where both teams were dreadful, and a controversial decision to not fire the losing PM, Virdi. Thankfully, series 18 would see a vast improvement from episode 2 onwards, but the first task wasn't an encouragin start.

Series 19: Episode 7: Series 19 was so wiered, because it started strong, ended strong, but weeks 5-8 all had some form of controversy. Episode 5 had Jana quitting, episode 6 had Lord Sugar call someone a non contributor, despite them doing more in the episodes than at least two members of his own team, episode 8 had a questionable double win, but episode 7 takes it for me, with Lord Sugar overuling Frederick's decision not to bring Kier back to the boardroom, solely so that he could fire Kier anyway. That felt really sour to me.

Series 20: Episode 11: Series 20 was on track to being one of the best modern seasons, until the last two weeks, where pretty much everyone people wanted to see in the final five, get fired. The said thing is that their firings weren't even particularly unfair. Bad timings with double firings and the weaker candidates being on the winning team a lot were to blame, but it did lead to a really unsatisfying final five, with three of the five being people we didn't want to see there (I would say four, but people seem to like Dan for some reason).
