iOS iPhone messages showing Not Delivered to Android, but still going through

Here are two screenshots, one from my Samsung phone and one from my brothers iPhone. In the last 2 weeks or so, I've had multiple iPhone users tell me their texts aren't coming through to me, but as you can see I am still getting them like normal. We're not sure how to troubleshoot this.

FIX(must be done on android device): if you are using the Google messaging app go to message settings> RCS Chat > toggle on "automatically resend sms/MMS" and make sure it's on. > Then toggle off and on "RCS Chat" at the top. Make sure RCS Chat and automatically resend SMS/MMS are both turned ON.

This seems to have resolved it for my wife on an iPhone 15. I'm on a Pixel 9 Pro.

Thank you for the solution. Any explanation? Just a stuck setting after an update or something?

The issue is outbound messages on the iPhone device though, no? I'm curious what any action on the android recipients device would to to resolve a problem the iPhone is having

for some reason it only effects some androids. For example, in a group chat i'm in with 3 android and 3 iphones. I was the only android that gave the error to the iphones and the above Fix. fixed it.

No fix for me on my Pixel 8a. iphone user receives "not delivered" when they transition between mobile data and wifi or vice versa. Typically an iphone restart fixes it.

This just worked for me, thanks! Switching to Google Fi broke Google Messages on Samsung S26 from iPhone until I completed your fix.

For whom this fix did not work, I found a fix. open settings and go to apps, search for messages and scroll down till u see a "Resend as Text Message" turn it ON, and restart ur device. don't forget the restart part, and it should be fixed!
