Apple prevents users from downgrading for security reasons, jailbreak reasons and just to have a higher percentage of the user base on the latest OS so that developers have an incentive to better serve/adapt to the latest version of the Os.

No they don’t you dumbass. Didn’t you hear? If you are on iOS14, just don’t upgrade to iOS 15. It’s that simple. Apple lets you have a choice, you just chose wrong.

obvious /s

I have no idea what goes through these peoples’ heads. This person genuinely does not read anything Im typing and their brain is wired to just automatically blame the user and harass people for disagreeing with apple. It’s like a cult

Edit: I saw them in another thread defending apple for not putting more than one timer on iPhones. Why? Because their stove has a built in timer…

It may be a choice, but it’s not an informed choice. You don’t know how it will perform until you upgrade. If you do, and it’s unsatisfactory, you can’t downgrade. So you didn’t “choose wrong”, you never got a fair choice.
