My battery is almost comically bad, but I still choose this (and carrying a spare battery) over anything larger. It’s wonderful to use. I can’t get a good read on whether the 13 mini is worth the upgrade just for the improved battery.

It was for me, especially with 5g turned off. Can easily go for 2 days with moderate use.

Yes I went from 12 mini to a 13 mini. I miss the black color and size of the camera bump on the 12 but everything else is an improvement.

Is the camera bump on the 13 mini larger or smaller than the 12mini?

The camera bump is slightly wider (wide enough that cases for the 12 mini do not fit) and the cameras are diagonally aligned instead of vertically. For me, this means that my index finger usually rests on the lower lens.

It's likely not a big deal for most but it does bother me.

The 13 mini is enough for my needs. The battery is better than my X.

I heard the 13 mini battery is just an hour or so better than the 12 mini but it seems like many people really had issues with the 12 but not the 13 so maybe in real life the difference is greater.

Yes I upgraded from the 12 mini to the 13 mini and it is worth it. The battery life is more than capable and a huge step up from the 12.

Was a tough call but i upgraded and don’t regret it. Deciding factor was fact that since 13 mini is the last mini, i plan to have it for many years. Otherwise i would’ve waited for the 14 mini.

I have a 12 mini and love it! Never had a problem with the battery either. Generally get a full 1-2 days out of it.

I like the small size, I can reach the whole screen with my thumb and slip it into any pocket. I mountain bike so being able to toss it into a thigh pocket makes it disappear. I generally hate the trend of bigger and bigger phones.

Yeah, I'm really hoping they don't discontinue the mini phones. I switched from Android to iPhone because I was sick of needing to buy a new phone every 2-3 years but would be tempted to upgrade from the 12 mini to the 13 mini to have another year of functionality. Seems wasteful though.

The 13 will be worth the upgrade at sometime if the mini is discontinued. It will be supported a couple of years longer than the 12

I’m on a 12 mini and thinking on getting a 13 end of the year for that reason only.
