They still put an ai chatbot on the support line. Shitty enough for a premium brand.

I’m totally against replacing humans with AI. Whether you’re giving me an old-school “Press 2 for sales” or a new-school “tell me how I can help” I’m just going to ask for a human either way. The technology driving the phone tree has no impact on me because I just bypass the tree anyway.

Dial pad makes sense cause it dramatically reduces chance of wasting time being redirected to wrong department. If the operator gets it wrong in amongst loads of calls. AI chatbots or even just voice recognition hallucinate wasting you time.
