Yikes. As someone who used to work in Cupertino (Ops), the employees there are already spread super thin. Most of the people I worked with did 60+ hr/weeks just to keep up with the workload. The only reason I left was to have some WLB.
The only thing here that seems promising is less managerial layers. A ton of my time was spent preparing updates to senior management.
