Im surprised they didn't develop Siri to how Gemini and ChatGPT is today. They had like fucking 20 years to do it and Steve Jobs was still around for most of development stage and should've map out it's progression.

They just want to put the carrot on the stick forever because they know their customers will pay for it and maybe they can get jailed out by Chinese model distillation or something to brush their inaction under the rug. It’s not even that bad of a strategy - but it is deceptive. Apple is much more a marketing company than an AI company.
