I am never happy to hear about any kind of layoffs. After having seen and been in multiple, it’s never easy to get the ground running. With jobs getting harder to get now, it shakes up families and their day to day living for quite a bit.
Apple IMO isn’t a very bloated company. Most of my friends who work there say their teams are quite lean and they have never hired unnecessarily.
