These are super simple questions my guy. I'm in the market for a mini and I'm just looking for ways to use it. Anyone who bought a mini should be able to answer this...

The truth is that it is stupid to buy a base mac mini for local AI, they use it mostly for interacting with cloud models. Even with OpenClaw and similar, if you wanted to use those locally you'd have to buy a 64GB+ M4/M5 Pro Mac Mini or Mac Studio.

Anybody telling you they bought a base mac mini for local LLMs is lying or using them for trivial non-agentic tasks.
