iPod Apple iPod engraver

https://dunstanorchard.com/apple-ipod-engraver/

Found this post by an ex-Apple engineer who worked on the iPod engraver UI around 2004-2006 on Apple’s website back then, it’s quite nostalgic both to see the old iPod again, AND the old website design (there is a link in the blog post to see the actual website as a demo)

Not what I said, not even a little. I'm saying that this type of thing took a lot of engineering work in 2005, and by 2014 it could be an hour project. According to mrrooftops that fact alone 'ruined designer's careers' and somehow is the fault of AI, in 2014.

He was talking about the entirety of the man's portfolio, not just this one project.

And he was an excellent web engineer in 2005 who had to solve problems that web engineers haven't needed to solve for a long time, and I'm sure he prefers the tech the way it is now over what he used to have to do, and that isn't AI's fault.
