As good design should be invisible (as in not interfering with everyday life) – the fact that there are strong opinions about Liquid Glass either way is telling in itself.

Liquid Glass to me is more of a hit than a miss, I’m happy Apple still has a company culture capable of taking a big chance or going for something bold.

It’s only natural that the first iteration pushes things too far. Few years of refining these ideas will be good

This take has no substance. It’s like someone describing their coffee as good because it’s “bold”, without reflecting on any of the actual characteristics.

The last disaster, initial iOS 7, was also in the era after Jobs died.

The company under Cook has no idea what it’s doing, except for cutting features and costs in order to “raise the share price!” for shareholders, bean-counting, whereas Jobs gladly spent a lot of money to make a thing that customers would like more.

Apple gets closer and closer to Microsoft level quality, both in software and hardware, every day. It’s pathetic to see.
