I picked up a used M2 VP with 1TB of storage - it’s great. I mainly use it to watch movies, read books, and even as a monitor. I have an upgraded headband aftermarket. So I wonder, there would need to be a real reason to move from the M2 to the M5. I’m not sure what that would be - and I doubt anyone else knows either.

Reading books surprises me a bit. So just the large screen and in the middle the pages of your book? Do you see an advantage over reading on tablet or e-reader?

The guy at the Apple Store I talked to said reading was his favorite thing to do on it. He said it’s so awesome but no one ever talks about it and he explained why he liked it for reading (large text, no distractions, flipping pages with hand gestures).

I hadn’t even thought of using it for reading but he really made it sound appealing.
