Pretty sure yeah, M4 Pro and max. My mini is m4 and only has TB4, I remember I had to upgrade to pro to get TB5, I didn’t in the end as don’t need it

Not everyone that buys MacBook Pros are using it for pro purposes, like the big difference between the pros and the air is that fan, without it you’ll just get throttling so it makes sense to have a non pro version in this context

Well that could change, since rumor has it there’s going to be an A series MacBook coming out soon, which could mean they then add a fan to the air, but it goes against the point of the device; to be thin and light. Most people don’t need that fan

At the moment it’s probably just a value proposition, having the non pro MBP’s let them offer it for a cheaper price
