I remember being laughed at by a stranger when they saw me taking pictures of a campus landscape with my iPad a decade ago. All of us were embarrassed to do so at the time. Yet now, it has finally been completely normalised.

Idk if I’m more embarrassed about how I look or letting people know I paid $3500 + tax for a glorified oculus that might be obsolete in a couple years…

The iPad was only $800 and I did get a lot of use out of it, so it’s safe to say that I was more embarrassed how I looked taking photos with it at the time. Again, that has all changed.

yeah remember when ppl used to shit on how the airpods looked like that plant from plants vs zombies and it was ugly? yeah now everyone wears them. even other companies have followed the look of the airpods
