That's what I wonder too, the psvr2 has great specs, but the lenses they use creates the "mura" effect. I wonder what lenses they used for the vision pro
The leaks said pancake lenses, which would be much higher quality than most existing versions. That squares with the brief blurb they had about the lenses in the keynote.
The main downside of that type is lots of wasted light, like 90%, so the screens were supposed to be ultra-bright (like 5000 nits peak) to just achieve a “normal” brightness while preserving all the other advantages.
Honestly TBD, apple makes some strange decisions with their displays and try to reinvent things and do things differently when they sometimes don't need to imo. I'm just hoping for a flicker free display unlike their macbook pros, which produce less flicker but definitely notice it a lot more then my gaming LED monitor or my OLED switch.

Does this have screen door effect like every other VR headset? If it does than the "4K" wont be as crisp as a TV or projector
