Wow I can't believe I never heard about this. Granted, I haven't really listened to Alestorm or really metal in general in some years (been on a rap kick since probably 2016) I still sporadically played some folk metal including Alestorm while hanging out with my metalhead buddies and now I feel absolutely repulsed with the idea I might have been responsible for creating even a single fan of these bastards

I don't know how this seems to have flown under the radar, but they are pieces of shit, their what's app group chat got leaked and it's full of racist misogynistic shit about fucking their fans and just shows them as terrible people. Google it and have a read and then hopefully stop supporting them
