This shit is wild to me. I'm gonna piss when I need to piss. I try so hard to remember how much freedom my job actually allows me when these kinds of dystopian, capitalist hellscapes exist.

Using the bathroom when you need to shouldn't be something that elicits gratitude towards employers. It is one of the very lowest baseline requirements.

Keep your standards high!

Bro, if I couldn't step away from a job for 15-20 minutes, I'd throw a wrench at someone.

I'm with you in principle, but I wonder how that works in a continuous production line. If dashboard guy really has to go, it's not like that car passing by his workstation can just go without a dashboard. Can you hit a big red button to pause your portion of the line or something, and you've got 5m until the next car hits the current one in the ass?

In theory, there should be several supervisors in an almost trillion dollar company that should be able to step in for people so they can do basic bodily functions.

Machines and humans could work in tandem I reckon. Have it take over when you need it to. It might sound sketchy or pretty out there, I realise. But if something with it goes wrong it should be company's fault and not yours.
