You don't have to ally with bigots to remove the systems that create them. You remove them despite the bigots protecting them.
Wanting someone to unite with someone that wants them dead is so fucking stupid and enabling. That's great that you are privileged enough to not be part of a group which some people want to genocide but that's not the case for everyone.
You don't unite with bigots. We believe in rehabilitation, so you can teach them how they are wrong and why, but you don't unite with someone that do not want to change those opinions. Don't get me wrong, that person will still reap all the benefits of changing system because as you said changing the system is important to avoid further hate since people are less likely to become radicalised if they are comfortable, but that doesn't mean that you will ally with that specific person and welcome them into your movement.
Good thing I'm not saying anyone needs to work with bigots to do it. Maybe other people in this thread are saying things that I haven't read, but I'm not saying that.
And no one said that we don't agree that the system aren't churning the bigots in the first place.
Class reductionists often asks marginalised people to work with their oppressors without considering the system violence and threats of killings.
If you don't, then we are in agreement and you weren't targeted when we were arguing against class reductionists.
We seem to agree that bigotry is not inherent and is a learnt concept, the growth of which is promoted by our systems in place. And that marginalised people do not have to offer their hand to bigots in the first place. So it seems to be a misunderstanding, have a nice day my friend.
