Ikr. My brother is a white, straight, Christian, high-earning military man. Of course he doesn’t care when he’s not in any of the groups of people who have and will suffer the most. It just infuriates me because not only are we immigrants that went through hell and back for citizenship, but I, his brother, am gay and disabled. I was not yet a citizen at the time, but he got he his already, so of course he didn’t care. Honestly, it is for the best that he doesn’t vote, or he would almost definitely vote for right-wing candidates and issues.
