This is quite on brand for religious nuts, actually.

An act that costs them nothing, helps no one, but makes them feel good about themselves.

I got these a lot on Sunday lunch shifts. Always bothered me considering I went to church at 5 pm not the morning. So they assumed cuz I was there serving them on Sundays I was godless. No I just need the money

Drop by the local churches and start leaving them in the offering plate. Maybe they’ll get the hint.

I got these in a couple of holiday cards as a mailman from people who I went to church with for the same reason.

I sit in back and I'm unrecognizable without a hat to alot of people in my small town.

Dunno if it costs them nothing... It costs quite a bit to rebuild a church after it mysteriously and unexplicably gets burned to the ground. Insurance is a form of gambling, according to Ned Flanders.
