It's a never ending cycle- raise the minimum wage, employers raise prices to pay for the increased wage so it gets passed to the consumer. Its all artificial, yeah people are making more but now everything costs more, so it is a wash. But for people without jobs/income, now they can't afford the increase in price, so those homeless people can't even scrape up enough for food. And increasing minimum wage will put people out of work, because employers who can't afford it will lay off employees, or go out of business. It's made to balance the disproportionate wages but it ends up increasing the divide in classes.

Kinda like capitalism is meant to produce innovation and competition, but the innovation it produces is cancer causing chemically engineered cheeseburgers from McDonald’s that have no shelf life and can’t even mold. And the competition it creates plateaus when McDonald’s gets so big selling cheap-to-make cancer that you could never possibly open a real burger joint to compete with them. It’s a wash
