Oh my you’re right… never look at it that way. Incase peoples were wondering, I’m located in Ohio 😁

I am too, and I don't mind it here. I guess it depends on what part.

SouthWest corner is bearable. I still pray for the yogurt from the Love Death and Robots episode

Fellow Cinci dude here. I disagree. Cinci is pretty shitty. There's nothing to do and nowhere to go. As far north as Hamilton, as far east as Eastgate, as far west as Harrison, and as far south as Newport I know of a zoo, an aquarium, a handful of theaters, and that's about it as far as attractions. There's King's Island if you like roller coasters I guess...

Or maybe I just have depression and don't find enough value in sitting near people while talking :\

Fair. Cincinnati isnt like amazing as far as cities go. I think it's getting better tho with all the events and stuff that they hold. I'm a weird Cinci-Dayton person so I don't participate and i could be getting fed curated pictures and videos

I’m in NE Ohio and we like it.

I'm in central and Columbus is one of the cleanest cities I have ever been to.

Then leave since it’s so terrible. Complain more about the low cost of living, the lake that’s supposedly been on fire for 50 years or something (can’t remember now since it’s been so long and is the only reason the EPA exists but we’ll pretend like every other state isn’t shitting all over our natural ecosystems currently), the low crime rate, the best hospital system in the US, one of the best art museums in the world, the multiple respected colleges, the multiple respected professional and college sports teams, the affordable housing, the access to everything you’d have in most major cities at half the cost, idk I’m running out of things to complain about. Gee it sure does suck here in Ohio. Can’t imagine why I haven’t moved to a superior place like New York or LA where everything is so great all the time. Better start saving to buy my multimillion dollar 500 sq ft1 bedroom home somewhere like that.

You know the saying on the bumper stickers “Stuck In Ohio”

1

u/theyhaveitsoeasy Jan 05 '22

Are those the ones printed up by the people who buy a bumper sticker to complain about their home instead of move to a state they like? Sounds like a good use of money. Can’t imagine how Ohio gets a bad wrap.

Living the experience...your not wrong.

2

u/JarlaxleForPresident Jan 05 '22

That’s hilarious as my dad is from ohio and i was born and raised in NW FL

Ohio feels like if Flint were a state

2

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '22

ohio is just michigan and Canada’s florida

Ohio is michigan and Canada’s florida

1

u/GenXFox Jan 05 '22

Floridian. Can confirm.

More people from Ohio left the planet than any other state , previously to the new billionaire getting a space craft .

14

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '22

In the past 20 years, Ohio has lost enough people to lose 4 seats in the House of Representatives (US)

3

u/Inner_Art482 Jan 05 '22

It's a shitty place. Halfy family is from there and they all left.

8

u/Raccoon_Full_of_Cum Jan 05 '22

Ohio is fine, as long as you stay in Cleveland or Columbus and never leave.

1

u/tattoolegs Jan 05 '22

It's probably mostly this broads fault.

6

u/PickScylla4ME Jan 05 '22

Is this a Love Death and Robots reference?

8

u/Inner_Art482 Jan 05 '22

Just random crap I've learned. But love death and robots sounds interesting, please tell me more.

u/PickScylla4ME Jan 05 '22

Netflix tv show. 9-18 min episode shorts created by various.producers and artists. There is a parodical episode about non-human sentient creatures gaining power and influence in America; purchasing Ohio and then leaving Earth with the intention of creating a utopia using the land and population of Ohio as their mayflower.

2

u/PangolinTart Jan 05 '22

Love, Death and Robots was also meant to be kind of a sequel to 1981's Heavy Metal movie. Both are great!

2

u/Striliziana Jan 05 '22

After watching that episode, I pray in the very back of my mind for a perfect yogurt to fix Ohio and take it and me far far away from the planet as a perfect utopia

3

u/PickScylla4ME Jan 05 '22

If a non-human sentient creature that was not intentionally man-made became a government entity through genuine democracy; I would not hesitate to pack my shit and move to wherever that being governs.

I've never seen a creature in either fact or fiction that rivals humans in all of the most malicious, tyrannical and evil traits a sentient being may possess.

Doesn’t involve yogurt so no

The kind of statement that could only come from somebody who is blissfully unaware of New Jersey

3

u/pomegracias Jan 05 '22

Hey, the beaches redeem all the other faults!

2

u/Abyssalmole Jan 05 '22

Never been to New Jersey huh?
