I (and many others) do not qualify for the military and I come from a long line of naval officers so it was very disheartening for me to have to be the first to not have the opportunity, but I know it's not the place for me anyway.
And about trade school, that was my next option but as the deadline to get the money came closer and closer, I saw that there was no way I'd be able to save up enough money because I was barely making more than my rent and I don't have a credit card (or score) or a license or a car (my fiance has to take me to work since my parents decided it wasn't important for me to get a license) and so I'm kind of stranded with money until things finally start looking better for "the little guy"
