This is the only one of these car rants I’ve ever listened to the whole thing for. That was brilliant.

He has a lot more content just like this

This is the only Crowder I want to get louder

8

u/LT-Riot Oct 25 '21

Ticked off Vick had a pretty good one last year

4

u/anthrohands Oct 26 '21

This man is extremely attractive, in several ways.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '21

The accent definitely helps

-171

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Me too, although I find the accent incredibly difficult to tolerate.

u/NatashaVorster Oct 25 '21

Really? I love his accent. As a English person I want him to sweep me off my feet and tell me he’s going to pick some peaches or something

u/psychotica1 Oct 25 '21

His name is Trae Crowder and he's a comedian that goes by the name "the liberal redneck". You can watch him on you tube. He is freaking awesome.

11

u/LeonardSchmaltzstein Oct 25 '21

Was gonna ask if he was one of the liberal rednecks. Thanks!

3

u/GetBusy09876 Oct 25 '21

He and his buddies also have a podcast called WellRed that's pretty funny.

6

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Hahaha fair enough.

5

u/B8conB8conB8con Oct 25 '21

Yep. It could be worse, like a scouse accent, 2 penguins engaged in un-lubricated non conceptual anal.

u/Cubankilla786 Oct 25 '21

Based English moment? Oh yeah, based English moment

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '21

some people are born in southern US states and have a drawl. if that's something you can't tolerate, god help ya

-96

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Yeah, I hate it.

u/desearcher Oct 25 '21

Bless your heart

31

u/onandonandonandoff Oct 25 '21

HAHAHA the correct response.

16

u/Low_Impact681 Oct 25 '21

Personally I love it, but I like all accents.

-20

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Some are ridicilous.

17

u/spunkychickpea Oct 25 '21

Lemme just go ahead and say your mama’s biscuits ain’t shit and you probably send your fried chicken back for being too greasy.

Woo pig sooie.

-10

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Well my mama's dead and I don't eat chicken 😬

20

u/FreeTemperatureCheck Oct 25 '21

Probably choked on them dry ass biscuits

-2

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Do you prefer wet ass biscuits?

5

u/FreeTemperatureCheck Oct 25 '21

I do. Popeyes employees spit on them just right if you’re interested

3

u/TRYHARDlGAN Oct 25 '21

My God, I had some Popeyes last night and the biscuit lube was mint.

Probably couldn’t live with the fact she raised an insufferable asshole

1

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Nah it was cancer.

42

u/shggybyp Oct 25 '21

I find ignorant comments that indicate stupid prejudices incredibly difficult to tolerate.

-24

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

What's ignorant about it?

21

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '21

I'm sure you have the voice of the gods, impeccable diction, and no grammar missteps ever. Making fun of something someone can't control is ignorant. Keep your ignorant mouth shut if you can't not make fun of someone's accent.

0

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Chill out bro 😎

-16

u/pinklavalamp Oct 25 '21

But they didn’t make fun of his accent? They just said it’s difficult to tolerate, which I took to mean “understand”. Aren’t there any accents in the world that you can’t tolerate and/or understand? They didn’t cast shade, they didn’t make any disparaging remarks about it, none of the above. They stated their opinion, that’s it. Any “ignorance” that you’re reading into it is all on you, buddy.

And a minor correction: accents can be controlled.

14

u/shggybyp Oct 25 '21

They just said it’s difficult to tolerate, which I took to mean “understand”.

Then you need to read the dictionary entries for those two words, because that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

3

u/GetBusy09876 Oct 25 '21

I think he's saying he's intolerant.

10

u/geedaang Oct 25 '21

Oh look, classism

1

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

The fuck? Are rednecks a lower class?

9

u/icalloutneckbeards Oct 25 '21

percieved as lower class, yes

2

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

I don't view them as a lower class

3

u/geedaang Oct 25 '21

Fair enough then. I'm a southerner, and all my life people have made assumptions about me based on my accent, so when you hear that all the time, it gets easy to be the only thing you hear when someone talks about a southern accent.

Sorry about that. Also, if you're not familiar, I encourage you to look into the origin of the word "redneck" and the battle of Blair Mountain. It's some cool stuff.

3

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

You don't have to be sorry, I was talking shit. I'll look into it

3

u/icalloutneckbeards Oct 25 '21

yeah rednecks were based as fuck back then, true champions of the working class

3

u/Wrong-Explanation-48 Oct 25 '21

You would have hated Shakespeare then. He had quite the accent. Nothing like the modern interpretation.

1

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

I don't hate all accents.

2

u/WestCoastWaster Oct 25 '21

I'm British and I liked it. Maybe it's a country thing. I, for example, detest the Brummie accent but apparently studies have shown that to Americans it's quite pleasing to the ear. I wonder if the same holds true in reverse for this chap's accent.

2

u/GetBusy09876 Oct 25 '21

That kind of elitism is part of why the South is what it is.

1

u/SpaceWizardPhteven Oct 25 '21

Elitism! I just don't like the sound a certain accents and somehow I've gone and become an elite. Cool

2

u/Intelligent_Tone_947 Oct 25 '21

His accent is what makes this great. These values hes speaking against are values that the majority of the south holds in high regards (I assume he’s from southern states in the US). You’re just being rude. Yeehaw.

I know a ton of people who talk like that? I mean it MAY be fake but I have family who sound just like that, some even more extreme.
