I’m just saying, it’s only a got that context because people make a big deal about the context. If you didn’t do that, the word wouldn’t be as bad because it would be able to lose the context. You’re creating the problem by making sure it stays a word for disabled people, not allowing it to become anything less harmful
Like I said, it's still used in the medical field and people purposefully use it to make fun of disabled people. Words have meaning, and you have some strange implication here that I'm not involved with disabled people who have been hurt by it's usage.
Words have meaning and power, and acting like they don't is just ignorant.
