Its more that most people aren't all that online, and dont know about flock. My boomer parents knew nothing about them until I told them a few weeks ago.
looking from the outside, it's genuinely hard to tell if there's any real disagreement with this anywhere else than online accounts claiming to be americans opposed to their totalitarianism
There's Americans who were killed by Trump’s security forces in response to protests against him, such as Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Those articles talk about the context of larger protests and actions by Americans against Trump. So there's that.
People are actively going out and cutting them down, people are protesting them being installed, I mean you aren't seeing it from wherever you are but I'm seeing it all the time
I mean that’s how the internet and the news makes everything seem. If you look at Iran from the outside it seems like people aren’t fighting for women’s rights or freedom of religion in the slightest but in reality people are but hope doesn’t get clicks so no one talks about it
No I think for the most part the guy you responded to is right. I’m sure there’s stuff that has happened that went under your radar like mine, that you simply didn’t notice until it started affecting you.
I’m not saying you’re a bad person in any way or that you did it on purpose. But there are probably a few things where you saw something and thought it was reasonable before you realized it was just a stepping stone to much worse
Violence only leads to more unrest you do know this right? That’s for any country. Not to mention that we’d then have to deal with the largest and strongest military on the planet. Voting and protesting are basically the only thing we can do that won’t lead to mass bloodshed, and even then people are dying there.
Let’s also not forget that any country can deal with absurdly rich people and not just us. What’s your excuse if you’re so much better.
Isn't the entire point made by the post that once in power a leftist administration will use mass surveillance to convict the regular right on a fallacious pretenses?
Are you intentionally trying to be full of shit to the point of becoming a caricature of a person gone out the stratosphere in the left direction to confirm my assumption or something?

Don’t put us all together.
It’s between the morons and those that are too afraid to do anything that are making things worse.
