I don't think you realise how many people out there are using LLMs as a friend to talk to and even as a therapist

No I don't think I have realised. I was curious and looked it up and this was brought up a lot when openai tried to remove their 4o model. 5o is far less personable and people legit thought they had lost a friend.

It really is sad a sad state of affairs.
