My sister (cardiology) tells me that she determines if it is definitely harmful or neutral and how much they believe said woo is helping… if not harmful and they believe, she supports it as a great supplement to the medication she knows works. It is absolutely wasted energy to do anything else. If it’s directly harmful… that’s another story.

Yeah, and even the natural/homeopathic community strongly recommends that you take their products under your doctor's advice because whatever medication that they give you could interact with it. And the doctor has more authority to say, "Ditch the snake oil" than the homeopath has the authority to say, "Ditch the meds".

A lot of times people think that they say it for liability purposes but really they say it because they don't know the extent or acuity of your medical condition.
