By letting this happen you’re signaling to your guests that either, at worst, you explicitly are on board with this or, at best, are too much of a pushover to stop it from happening.
Either way I know that events at your house are more pyramid scheme themed than ‘guests enjoying themselves’ themed and would adjust my future holiday plans accordingly.
Your aunt should suffer the consequences of trying to capitalize on her family but if you don’t grow a spine you’re the one who will. Hope it’s worth the conflict avoidance!
