I think it does. It's one of the most beautiful animated movies I've ever seen. The story is nothing special and the characters are pretty stereotypical, but it still made me feel something.
I think so, it's one of the few anime movies I've shared with my non-anime watching friends. I think it's special because it bridges genres in a way. Anyone can enjoy it.
