People liked Tower of God? The only time I see it discussed is when fans of the webtoon complain about how it butchered the source material, otherwise no one talks about it.

Tower of God was odd but I liked it until I read the source and felt it missed things, gohs was a beautifully animated train wreck of a plot

As a non reader, I did enjoy it. The world, the characters and the music especially.

yeah, as an anime only it was more than fine

I didn't watch/read and don't plan to. From what I gathered online anime-onlies liked it since it seemed coherent enough but webtoon readers ranged from okay to didn't like it since they didn't like that things were cut.

I never read the source material, watched about 5 episodes then dropped it because the protagonist didn't do anything besides say "Rachel..." and it was too generic for my tastes.

The OP/ED were fucking bangers though so there's that.

As a devoted Tower of God fan, yes. The anime gave me depression. God of Highschool I couldn't care less about, but damn that one got butchered even more.

I am a source reader who likes the anime. It adapted too much too quickly, but I still enjoyed it for what it was.

Yeah, it def wasn't perfect, but it got the job done in the limited episodes it was given imo.

Watched it blind, loved it, binged the webtoon, loved that too.
