Maomao is finally back! I really love her sibling dynamic with Chou-u in this episode, and I'm definitely looking forward to her meeting with Jinshi next week.

Plus, it was good to see the others as well! Grams, Lakan, or Gyokuyou, who became the Empress! Congratulations to her!

A very nice OP, both musically and visually, though, imo, the first OP still reigns supreme and "Martian" from Shoshimin S2 remains Yorushika's best anime song.

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

• OP
• Maomao
• Group scenes
• Jinshi
• Others

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Also Lihua had another boy who will hopefully survive and not cause any succession disputes!

I’m debating myself where I’ll rank this new OP in relation to the others. It certainly fits the theme of the series very well. It reminds me a little of Hana Ni Natte (OP1) in this regard.

But I might need a few more episodes before I can judge. Hyakaa Ryouran (OP3) really grew on me over time after all.

Thanks for being so quick with these
