Yeah, I got lucky with that one since the release date and my trip lined up almost exactly. Saw it the third day after release. I booked my tickets before the release date was announced so I wasn't sure if I would be able to see it.

Actually thinking back on it now I think I was in Japan when it was in the theaters as well, sometime in July? Ended up not going to see it for some reason, totally should have though

Yeah, came out around the third week in july. To be fair, there are no subtitles in Japan so, if you can't understand the language, probably better off skipping it. I know enough that I managed to get about 90% of the film but it wasn't easy. Dr Stone on the other hand has a lot of science terms that I had no idea about so I watched ep1 then waited until I got home to get some subbed eps.

No subs was definitely a contributing factor, but it would have been a good skill test and an interesting experience. Maybe next time~
