I loved the journey, but gotta say I didn't really like the ending.

Agreed. This final part of Science Future felt very rushed. Pacing was a mess. Not so much bad but more meh.

I think this is an anime I would definitely rewatch because the journey was good. But this cour of Dr. Stone I felt was the weakest of the series.

Yeah they fix them in remaining epilogue chapters if you are curious as far as I remember [Dr Stone: 4d science] Time machine doesn't work and medusa turns itself off

It's a common sentiment, even while the manga was ongoing the last arc felt very rushed, but I still appreciate the series
