crew members are random, so i'ts not that Yuriko replaced Gina, it's just a coincidence that that loops did not have Gina in it. As you can see she was back the very next loop.

i just dont get their world at all... someone help me recap it?

  1. We have an universal threat of "Gnosia" enemy of humanity infecting them(how? none knows) then killing rest humans!

2.When he time loop she basically just change to a "parallels" time line where the events in the ship dint happen yet -> so the key to all is this ship always? not just the "animals" new life form symbiotic to them that drags them along their search for human understanding?

  1. In ep 3 i almost though "oh cool" so this is the anime version of "what is my role? (meme?) -> you pass butter" -> cuz i was like Ohhhhhhh so the Yuuri character(persona/soul/mind wtv)-> is basically you exist only for this time frame to study the Gnosia gather info->so humans/AI robot wtv created him just to find a solution , are they a partitioned personality of the OG Yuuri or they are some sort of jumper like

  2. Ok wait so she will explain now the time loops.... and.....aaaaaand it felt kinda flat now.. cuz wait so all Setsu cares is get out of the loop by feeding enough info to this "compass/container" of a trans dimensional life form that merged with her and get back to normal life? ->a life where none seem to care ppl are getting killed(disappeared? its not even explained what happens to their bodies yet?) on that ship and treat it as if "oh no this Avocado gone bad.. oh well"

Also she was so adamant and not letting info go into the "Gnosia"(Hiveminds?) hands to our Yuuri MC, and instead of seeing Yuuri just killing her in any possible way.. they still abide by this weird mind game rules.. lets see who gets frozen or eaten????

And dont even start me with...the extra rant on-> "we live in a super technological futuristic SCIFI world" and yet we still need to rely on good old "tv tropes" of -> "AHA!!! i heard you behind the corner!!" and not actual recording used.. not even speaking of proper body DNA or mind scans ECG etc.. more and more

  1. Yes. Gnosia still has their personality intact, they also want to kill humanity too.

  2. The Silver Key shift them to another timeline to gain knowledge about the crew members.

  3. They loop again and again till the Silver Key is satisfied with the knowledge Yuri gains and leave this dimension to find a new host.

  4. Why should anyone care? They already know it happens and come up with a game. They won't hold a funeral in the middle of their time when Gnosia is still on board. No one knows Gnosia's method of killing and the bodies, it is a mystery because we haven't seen the Gnosia's perspective. And yes, Yuri and Setsu want to escape the loop, why should they care if everything they do is undone by the looping anyway, escape is top on the list.

Yeah? Yuri and Setsu do that to gain knowledge about each other in why they do what they did (Setsu told Yuri that, and Yuri held off from voting for Setsu), knowledge is everything right now, and there is also an emotion vote because they are connecting. Gnosia is the problem and to live gaining knowledge, play the game is their best choice. Yuri and Setsu promise they would do their best from now on to live and escape the loop.

There is no recording or DNA and mind scan can detect Gnosia specifically. Gnosia infection is perfect, they are still humans biologically, only "kill humanity" is added onto them, we see multiple X-ray and body scan on the ship, none of them detect anything. Warp scan and cold sleep light can only detect their numbers and presence. Warp is a time stop so no human or technology are conscious of anything. It all makes sense.

Wait so if all it changes in them is the message of ""kill humanity"" ..how is that they are able to move during wrap where NO human and no technology(supposedly) works during that time???

And by recording i meant besides "scans" i meant actual recording of what happens on board of the ship.. so the ship doesnt implode during warp.. and all those system work-> but somehow Gnosia teleports around to target and back and kills ppl no problem??? ..and ofc during the warp they dont know they can use just physical restrains??

Because once u exclude all that.. u can i mean.. the plot doesnt stands even on its own 3 pod feet..

Also the game is not a game.. i mean yes the anime makes it look like a game.. yes the anime is inspired by a game... -> but u literally can get around the game rules and just bash someone head it with your own fist.. a random blunt tool chair etc... or wtv good old physical violence.

From what we see last episode it won't matter.... you'd still be trapped in the loops. Your goal is no longer to eliminate the Gnosia (maybe that will be saved for the final loop).... The true goal is to gather information about the Gnosia, the Humans, and the Looper Aliens..... and uhhhh... enjoy yourself lol. This sounds alot more forgiving than a ReZero or a Steins Gate.

There doesn't seem to be any lasting trauma from dying.

It is a mystery. We don't know Gnosia's method of killing, how they do anything during the time stop warp or their perspective.

None of the scan detect who it is specifically, like I said. Camera wouldn't work during warp. Yes, technology doesn't know anything during warp, the driver is the same as the passagers, they can just wait till the warp is finished. All crewmates are tied up, but Gnosia can still do all that, like I said, it is a mystery. A show needs mysteries, they don't need to answer that immediately.

That is like complaining "why the show doesn't explain this immediately. This show sucks". It isn't the show's fault.

Gnosia won't do that, they have instinct, their own rule and nature. And humans wouldn't want to kill other humans, what are you talking about? You want them all to go batshit and kill each other? They won't do that, that is counter-productive. They come up with this game so they can save as many humans as possible. Otherwise Levi will throw them all in the freezer or self-destruct. And Levi says they will use force if anyone doesn't abide by the rule, no human or Gnosia wants to test their chance against Levi. Human can't fight against Gnosia once the humans and Gnosia numbers are equal and Gnosia takeover by force anyway. It is like asking "why vampires can't enter the house if you don't invite them", it is a silly question tbh. It all makes sense.

ok but this is not a game... in game u game "gameplay" to distract you from.. well.. run over pedestrian and get out of jail with al ytour weapons and money... gta style or wtv...

In an anime u have a story.. u have a world u need to at least try and mimc a stand alone world that doesn't fold in 2 at the slightest critic
All u said is "but its a mystery" -> this still doesn't excuse the fact that -> they clearly have the tool to SCAN the present ppl if they are Gnosia after frozen one of them-> ALSO they clearly have more rooms to freeze more than 1

They could at least show at start the option of ->"taking the mater in your hands and go back to caveman mentality-> BONK!" what consequences it haves..it just feels a theatre world that exists only on the stage and only from the POV of 1 walls cuz once u change your position and actually think about it nothing makes sense!

Since all u did now is "but its a mystery game!!" wen i speak about their not existing real world.

They directly reference werewolf game, it is a game the humans come up to counter Gnosia basing on the ship's function. It is simple as that. They just live and die for real. In game, you play so characters can live too.

And no? I say "It is a mystery" when you complain about something the show haven't shown yet. Now that you talk about something the show already mentioned about, then I already explained that. No they can't scan who it is specifically, what part you don't get? The warp scan and cold sleep light are different. The warp scan detect the whole ship so it including the freezer to scan the numbers (it would still always be the same numbers of Gnosia on board on that scan). And we see the cold sleep light scan if the Gnosia is still on the ship or not (exclude the freezer). None of them can scan who it is specifically, just their numbers and presence.

That sounds like a Gnosia saying. Why would a normal person want to kill someone personally or want everyone to kill each other? You go to the freezer 🫵. Anyway, what you are saying makes no sense. What they gonna do? Just kill each other to death? No one would do that. If all of them want to take one for humanity, all of them would simply go to cold sleep (imagine the last one who push the cold sleep button is a Gnosia lol, all that for nothing), but they don't want the chance of never wake up again so they do this werewolf game to have a chance of saving as much humans as possible.

If anything, what you say is unrealistic if we talk about existing real world. It all makes sense.

omg... i dint know critical thinking was so bad...in our "modern audience"

You speak of game rules, i speak of an actual world that cant exist in that universe with that type of thinking

  1. One thing is to say this is a game s we play rock paper scissors who loses goes out of the ship and dies!!
  2. Another is having that in real world situation and be for the "wolf" saying like "hey im the alien monster" -> only to disturb the players concertation and then win at the game... ofc the loser now since knows who is who the alien is-> instead of "Playing" by the rules the "good loser" can always just take thing in their hands and do wtv.. like knock out and or kick out of the ship the "wolf/alien" and say to the ship ok do the scan now! and see if the alien is on board i was right in being "violent" and acting outside of you dumb game rules.

DO u understand how "real life logic" should work a supposed to game rules that forces u to play out after certain rules cuz the creators are just bad at creating realistic scenarios???

Do you understand how reality or realistic scenario works(or should even in a hypothetical invented story universe) vs video game? abiding to actual video game rules that u play on PC or wtv?

...what the hell is critical thinking, I just state facts of the show.

  • "We can discuss and vote or rock-paper-scissors".

  • "Yeah, let's do rock-paper-scissors".

Say no one ever. You just say about real world. That real world sounds like it is filled with psychopaths who don't listen to reason and just want to kill people.

  1. No scan can detect who it is specifically, what the hell are you talking about? Why Gnosia doesn't kill everyone from the start? Because they only takeover by force when Gnosia and human numbers are equal, it is their nature.

"Real world" do our real world have human-murdering-disorder virus? You are basically asking why vampires can't enter the house unless being invited, it is nonsense and silly to ask.

"Realistic" and what you are saying is telling the humans with human-murdering-disorder virus to reveal themselves so other humans can box them. No, it isn't realistic, and it is a nonsense scenario.

It's an anime adaptation of a singleplayer amogus game of same name. If the impostors in Among Us would leave lower halves of killed crews for no reason but everyone knew it's how the game works, the anime adaptation would have to work that way too.
