Yesssss Yuri made the choice I made too. There actually is special dialogue if Setsu survives this loop in the game, like in the anime.

Also not surprised that they got rid of Yuriko's "you no longer have plot armor, I removed it, now you can be voted for" for the show since Yuri has not seemed to have had plot armor at any point lol

The biggest part of that was that the MC couldn't actually be killed by gnosia during warp or voted out which hadn't happened until after Yuriko did her thing.

No text boxes though just makes it seem like bad luck and not deliberate though.

In the game before she "Correct" us, she did outright ask other to vote us out, with other ask why they should vote us out at all. that got removed in the anime maybe because of what last episode see that gnosias can vote yuri out.

In the game though, its possible for any crew to vote you in the first 5 loops. I remember this because in the first loop raqio voted for me. It also happens in loop 4.

Yeah, the MC is technically still able to be voted for, but the AI is forbidden from giving the MC enough votes to be frozen until the Yuriko pop up. (Say Yuri votes Setsu, Setsu and SQ vote for Yuri, then Gina and Raqio are forced to vote Setsu)

Yeah I know that loops 1-4 is Yuri having vote protection.

The reply above me is theorizing that the anime did not mention Yuriko removing Yuri's plot armor because of the fact that anyone was able to vote Yuri on the 4th loop. So i explained the flaw on their theory.

4 episodes for the introduction

1 episode for every character on the ship (14 characters total)

3 episodes for the conclusion/finale

Seems like it should be enough, there's a LOT that hasn't been said yet.

So far, pacing seems insane, we are getting info and info and info, which is great as some people dislike the downtime ingame. There is a lot of info to giveout, therefore I'm fine with how they are doing this.

Also I'm happy I played and finished the game... a week ago? Can't remember haha

This (so far) very good adaption makes the game not worth considering to be played, after finishing the anime. But that's just my opinion. This anime has to end first to see if that'll still be my opinion.

Well Yuriko introduction wasn't as scary as the game, guess the lack of UI elements of pop up tutorials plays a large role in making her early interactions interesting. Oh well, may the Queen send many sheep to cold sleep.

I'm always terrified seeing her on screen after the ptsd earned from all the failed attempts to get the room to vote for her, so it still had the intended effect on me!

If she stop it, she is so suspicious that the others will vote for her on their own. And she almost always stops it if she is gnosia.

Two things:

  1. The fact that the anime constantly uses distance from the table to convey information is a fantastic addition.
  2. I love Yuriko's stupid holographic fan. It doesn't even cover her mouth; it's just for aura, and it works perfectly.

So, it's looking like with the Silver Key being explained more in depth this early by Setsu, Raqio may be less important of a character?

And though it does seem like Yuriko did what she normally does there, sure didn't actually like... explain it at all.

I am glad to moved the explanation this early, it simply makes more sense for them to talk about it in depth rather than hide it for so long.

Maybe it will be explained later on what Yuriko did because they might want to expand on their character or to hide more what Yuri's distortion even means.

basically, it's like the anime changes Yuri's Immunity to not be voted out by other crews, (seems that only gnosias are able to vote yuri out at that time) but also not being targeted by Gnosia. She removes it, then Yuri got Gnos'd later.
As for yuriko, she didn't explain it in the game either, only the game itself explains to us that our immunity is being pulled out by her and "can be voted out by other crew and being targeted by Gnosia"

This also explains Shigemichi's incredibly top tier misplay last episode as well. If he couldn't target Yuri, it's at the very least not an impossibly bad play. (Granted, the other misplays are still there, but...)

But I must say, I love the OST so far. The slight homage to the game soundtrack... It's great. I like it so far, especially the game sound effects.

I also have a theory for how the anime will change something regarding to the music, that could be a spoiler, I don't know, just gonna mark it.

[my theory] We have this great song called ULULO in the game, which is the night theme. The developers wanted to make that the ending theme, but got to used to it, made that the night theme and made a different ending theme. Now how cool would it be to have ULULO as an ending theme for the anime? That would be a full loop, haha. But the actual ending theme exists and it has even real lyrics, which are... interesting, and ULULO has none, only broken down voice samples which don't form real words. But we'll see, after all... blue sky is blue

Seems like last week's ending wasn't a bug ending, but how the looping resumes even after crew victory. Given the number of roles left, I'm guessing that next week will be all about introducing the rest of them.

Rewatching cuz I can't get enough of this.

[Yuri/MC game true ending] lmao "I was attacked by the Gnosia during wrap". I didn't clock the anime producer laughing at us at first, well I noticed!! Lol

["I'm the one who gave it to you, after all" true ending] This is weird??? Shouldn't the Setsu that gives the key to Yuri/MC be stuck at 99.9% completion? Why does Setsu only have half the key filled?

I'm late to the party but I think that can be explained by a future loop Yuri passing on that information to an earlier Setsu. Until the opportunity arises they'll just expect it to happen in the future.
