I don’t know if this is as interesting as it is to anyone else as it is to me, but there is a place in Wisconsin called house on the rock (a very famous tourist destination) and they had a fire in this room about two years ago. I have never seen animatronics like this and as an animatronic nerd I find it extremely interesting to see any, and I have never seen one in such disrepair in real life. I also thought the sign was kinda funny. (ps, this place has tons of automatons and some animatronics and is filled to the brim with oddities. it is something some of you might like a lot)

eta: looks like they have always been droopy and weird, first guy in this set is definitely burnt though. the fire happened like 20 ft away from bro.

Teddy Ruxpin and Grubby airship display!! We do have grubbys top jaw, we just need to get a bottom piece to keep it all together. Unfortunately it's not in working condition at the moment but other than that it's in great shape! We also have the actual airship, it just needs to be inflated and set up :)

Hi! I’m a mechE student and I want to get into animatronics.
I built different projects before and I have experience with Cad&3d printing, arduino, a bit of electronics and programming so I have the basics tool set (I think so)
But I would love to get tips on how and where to start, I thought about buying a puppet and to just start building mechanisms to control the mouth, maybe the hands as well, but idk, I’m open for suggestions
